One Trust’s vision is to lead the way in creating, “A world where people with profound and multiple learning disability (PMLD) and their family carers are valued, can realise their potential and live their lives the way they choose”. We do this through providing leading edge services, opportunities, therapies and respite, currently in South West London. We offer safe, proactive and flexible services that enable recipients, carers and adults with learning disability, to reach their full potential and live fulfilling lives. One Trust was incorporated in 2015 and, following a successful start-up phase, now has a turnover of £3.3m/ annum and employs 80 people across 5 service sites. We are now looking to recruit talented individuals to deliver on a 3-5 year strategy focused on the next phase of our development . One Trust has ambitions to reach as many people as possible. There is a shortage of first class (PMLD) provision across South London and One Trust is dedicated to filling that void and looking to expand our services. One Trust is now looking to skilled and experienced people who can make that happen.
Chief Operating Officer (COO) . £48,000-£55,000.
Full time employee on a Permanent Contract
35 Hours/ week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.
Wandsworth/ South London.
We serve some of the most vulnerable people in our society. Given the current Coronavirus Crisis our priority is to protect, shield and care for our Service Users and help our Carers within Government and PHE guidelines. Our new COO will be critical in helping to manage our way through and out of the crisis so that the Trust returns smoothly and safely to ‘business as usual’ providing the critical care our Service Users need, with a motivated team in full support and on a sound financial footing.
We will then begin an important and exciting new phase of One Trust’s journey. The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for significant input to the overall strategic oversight of One Trust and day-to-day responsibility for all financial and operational aspects of the business. As a member of the senior management team they will work closely with the CEO, Board of Trustees, Quality Audit and Communications Manager, Finance and Administration Manager as well as service managers and frontline personnel.
The COO will assist the CEO, Board and other senior managers with delivering the mission, vision and values of One Trust. The COO will take care of the day to day, but will also work alongside the CEO, exploring opportunities to expand the reach of One Trust.
- an accomplished leader, inspirational, innovative and strategically astute
- experience of financial management and control and a CCAB accountancy qualification
- a track record of successful at managing teams and operations for a similar sized organisation
- a self- starter who is empathetic towards our service user needs and dedicated to One Trust’s mission, impact and future
The head office is located at 21 Church Lane, Tooting, London, SW17 9PW, however there is scope for the successful applicant to periodically work remotely from the other sites across SW London, in Tooting, Putney, Sutton and Southfields.
