Job description
What we are looking for
You will be at least level 2 qualified (preferably level 3) with experience of working with the EYFS and
children up to the age of 5. To be successful you will need a positive approach to team working and a
‘hands-on, can-do’ attitude. A competent use of spoken and written English is essential in order to effectively
communicate with children, parents, colleagues, and other professionals, and to be able to produce high
quality observations for the assessment of children’s development.What we can offer you
You will be well supported by the nursery team who will provide you with a safe and secure environment
to work in. FfB’s nurseries are a satellite training centre for the Academy of Central Bedfordshire and there
will be a strong commitment to your continuing professional development. More importantly, we can offer an
opportunity to join a group of enthusiastic Early Years professionals in defining and developing a successful
childcare facility in a rapidly growing area of Bedford Borough.
