Peony runs in the community for Bristol women who are ready to move on from multiple disadvantages, and offers three afternoons of therapeutic and meaningful activity per week. Peony is central to One25’s vision to see marginalised women move from crisis to community. Peony women can develop their wellbeing and skills so they can reach their goals in the community. Ultimately, we hope to support women to find work and become emotionally and financially independent.
If you’re well organised, confident, and a pro-active team worker with great interpersonal skills that will enable you to support the Peony team, you could be our Coordinator. Reporting to the Peony Manager, you will work collaboratively with the Peony Support Workers and volunteers to support the practical organisation of Peony. Within the Peony setting, you will support the team to deliver a programme of activities and 1-1 support with women.
You will be responsible for providing comprehensive and confidential assistance and administrative support, be well organised and enthusiastic, pay close attention to detail to support team and act as a key liaison for referral agencies, as well as being a direct point of contact for the women themselves. You’ll be a big part of a small team, where everyone takes a flexible and collaborative approach to work, and is committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable and marginalised groups.
