Trust and Grant Fundraiser
This new position will build relationships with Trust and Grant Funders to achieve significant and sustainable growth in trust and grant income, which will ultimately enable the charity to both maintain and grow its extraordinarily successful programme of activities. The candidate will have at least 1 year of practical and relevant trust fundraising experience. They will have proven their competence with large grants (ideally including 5 and 6 figure grants). They will have highly tuned research skills, will be great at handling deadlines, a superb writer and a stickler for detail as well as being thoroughly organised. A perfect role for candidates looking for a step-up in their early fundraising career or equally someone choosing a part-time role or for someone returning to work or reducing their hours. There is a real opportunity for the post-holder to grow the grant income portfolio from scratch and make the role their own. The post-holder will:
- Be responsible for Trust and Grant Fundraising Income targets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospect and actual trusts and foundations,
- Research, identify, produce and submit high quality bids.
- Co-ordinate grant monitoring including making claims and providing feedback reports.
- Develop financial and descriptive collateral for use in bids.
Salary & Benefits: £25,000-£28,000 plus 33 days holiday pro rata; Birthday Annual Leave Gift, 3% Pension.
Hours: Part-time 21 hrs
Location: Home and/ or Office-based (Exmoor St, London, W10 6DX) - flexibility by arrangement. (When home-based, access to a fully functional computer and telephone is essential to ensure to regular contact with CEO and wider team)
