Open Up Music is an award-winning Bristol-based charity, with a mission to open up music to young disabled musicians. We deliver ambitious, national programmes to raise standards in music education for young disabled people. We are committed to being an accessible, diverse and inclusive workplace, and uphold equal opportunity and respect for every individual.
We are a Disability Confident Employer and offer a Guaranteed Interview Scheme for disabled applicants who meet the essential criteria. We especially welcome applications from Disabled people; Blind people and those with sight loss; Deaf people and those with hearing loss; people with autism and/or other neurodivergencies; people with chronic illness or pain conditions; and anyone with mental health conditions.
We actively encourage people from structurally disadvantaged backgrounds and underrepresented groups to apply. This includes, but is not limited to, people from communities experiencing racial inequality, migrants, refugees, women, non-binary people, people who identify as LGBTQIA+ and/or people from a working-class background.
The Fundraising Officer will be responsible for supporting the delivery and growth of Open Up Music’s trusts and foundations portfolio and play a role in developing other income streams.
