We’re looking for an enthusiastic events administrator to join our Competitions team at the Angling Trust. Your mission will be to support our gold standard domestic, national, and international competitions and events.
You’ll work closely with our Head of Competitions and Senior Competitions Administrator, handling a full range of administrative tasks for customers, members, and colleagues.

What you’ll be doing

· Proactively handling day-to-day correspondence and telephone enquiries, supporting the administration of the competitions webpages and CRM system, and collaborating with your team to produce social media content and press releases

As Project Support Officer you will support the Northern Area Manager and Regional Manager with volunteer recruitment, documentation of training (such as DBS, references, Food Safety Level 2, First Aid), giving our volunteers a fantastic experience, guest outreach and giving extra support to our Yorkshire & The Humber projects to aid development and growth within the region.
Our projects are run by volunteers and supported by Regional Managers, through recruitment and training of volunteers. Your role will be to support the Regional Manager so that they can manage more projects, along with supporting the Regional Manager with expansion plans within their areas. This support could range from developing relationships with our food suppliers, researching local organisations to support with guest outreach, and recruiting new volunteers for the region.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to talk confidently to external people about our Projects. You will also be a good organizer, with the ability to manage multiple tasks within multiple Projects. You will have a passion for food and cooking, and be committed to our objectives and ethics.
The role will require attendance at our Community Meals projects in Leeds, Sheffield, Hull and Bradford, with occasional evening and weekend work. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this exciting role.

The Felix Project is London's biggest food redistribution charity and the largest end-to-end food redistribution charity in Europe.
Our vision is a London where no one goes hungry and good food is never wasted.
We rescue surplus food from businesses, supermarkets, restaurants, and farms. This food is nutritious, in-date, and safe and includes a high proportion of fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. If we did not rescue this food, it would be at risk of going to waste. Instead, we deliver it free of charge to London charities, schools, food banks, and other organisations serving people in need. Our food is a vital lifeline for children and families, people on low incomes, people who have lost their jobs, the homeless, refugees, domestic abuse survivors, the elderly and keyworkers. Last year, The Felix Kitchen made and distributed over 1.1 million meals to help people in need.

Purpose of the Job
Your role as a Packing Assistant is to assist the Head of Packing with the smooth running of the packing area of Felix’s Kitchen and the correct packing, storing and distribution of all meals and components. You also assist the Senior Chefs in the smooth running of the kitchen.
You are responsible for maintaining the quality and standards of the kitchen and ensuring that all meals and/or components of meals are packed correctly.
You assist other staff and volunteers when they need help, ensuring the smooth running of the operation.

Role Requirements
As part of the site services team the role holder will be expected to liaise with managers and staff across the Trust. The role holder is expected to work closely with the other members of the facilities team and assist in covering in the laundry, in the deep clean team or other works as and when required.

The Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) is the leading membership and representative body for construction plant-hire in the UK. A role of two half’s covering both finance and administration. We are looking for a well-organised and committed person with some experience in accounting and administration processes who will work as part of our small membership team on a part time basis based at our London office.
You will be working closely with our Finance Manager assisting him with accounting duties including inputting Suppliers invoices, direct debits, and general accounting work. While in addition, assisting the membership team with administration tasks as required, reporting to the Membership Manager.
What we are looking for:

About the team
Sitting under our Finance Team, we work collaboratively to help safeguard our resources across Shelter to ensure the organisation is financially stable. Our finance teams all work together to help support Shelter’s aim to achieve a home for everyone.
This Accounts Payable team plays a crucial role within Finance – working to pay suppliers in a timely manner allowing Shelter to continue it’s vital work. We also lead on controls to help ensure that donors’ money is being spent in the best way we can. You’ll be working in a tight-knit team alongside two Accounts Payable Coordinators, an Accounts Payable Manager, a Head of Financial Control and Operations – all of which fall under our Assistant Director of Finance.
About the role
Your role will involve ensuring all invoices are properly posted to Shelter’s finance system, as well as matching to correct purchase orders within required timescales. You’ll also be processing our staff expenses as well as credit card expenses to ensure that we pay these within our agreed timescales.
Part of your day-to-day tasks will also involve being the key point of contact through our Accounts Payable Inbox – and at times we’ll rely on you to provide training to Shelter colleagues on our purchase-to-pay cycle as well as providing guidance for raising purchase requisition requests. You’ll be an integral part of our team to ensure our operations run smoothly helping us to deliver within our deadlines.

About the team:
The Customer Support Centre is multi-channelled, with a mixture of inbound, outbound and email traffic which receives calls and emails for our network of 21 rehoming centres in the UK. The Customer Support Centre also receives calls for several dedicated hotlines in the organisation along with making outbound post adoption support calls. The role will involve delivering exceptional customer service on every interaction for all sorts of queries coming into the organisation.
What you need to know:
Normal hours in this role are 37.5 per week, our national Customer Support Centre is open from 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am-5pm on weekends and bank holidays. Due to the nature of our operation, you will be required to work every other weekend (2 weekends per month) with some bank holiday work required.
The role is based in the Manchester Rehoming Centre with hybrid working. The successful candidate will be required to work two days a week at our Manchester office (M34 3SG) and three days remotely. Some UK travel may be required as and when needed.

Rugby foodbank's Engagement Officer will oversee the smooth running and operation of the foodbank, with concern for its operational efficiency and standards in accordance with The Trussell Trust franchise model. In partnership with the Service Delivery Manager, guide the development of the foodbank project, including its material resources, financial assets, reputation, partnerships and volunteer body. The Engagement Officer will have a key role in the delivery and development of Rugby foodbank and the growth of its services. They will be responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders including volunteers, food and financial donors, partner referral agencies plus community and business groups. As a charity, our clients are at the heart of what we do. Although Rugby is a small market town, in 2023 we supported over 190 people at our Day Centre and provided over 7500 foodbank food parcels. Our staff and volunteers are crucial to making this happen. We currently employ 8 members of staff and have 80+ people regular volunteers.
The charity was founded by the churches across the town and continues to hold to Christian principles working to address poverty, primarily homelessness and food poverty in the Borough of Rugby. The churches, as the Revive network, support the work we do both with funding and providing many of our volunteers. Our staff and volunteers support these values and ethos irrespective of belief or background.
We are looking for someone who can work as a flexible team member and with the ability to share and balance duties according to the needs and opportunities of the organisation. You will be an outgoing self-starter who is confident working on their own initiative as well as part of a wider team.
