As the Administration and Liaison Officer you will be the primary point of contact and the face of the Rugby foodbank for all stakeholders. You will need to have excellent administration and communication skills as you will be our contact point for volunteers, clients, voucher issuing agencies, food and financial donors. In partnership with the Service Delivery Manager, you will guide the development of the foodbank project including its material resources, financial assets, reputation, partnerships and volunteer body.
Your key skills will be effective communication and the ability to work with all types of people from every kind of background. You will engage with volunteers, clients, Trustees and external agencies such as statutory agencies, churches, schools and businesses to maximise engagement. You will need to be a flexible team member with the ability to balance duties according to the needs and opportunities of the organisation. About the role
The London Library is looking for an Acquisitions and Discovery Assistant to assist in the acquisition and management of Library E-resources and print resources.
The role includes supporting the successful acquisition and seamless delivery of electronic resources to library users, utilising and maintaining relevant library systems and records; assisting purchasing decisions and supporting licensing, ordering and payment processes; verifying access, liaising with suppliers & Library IT, and ensuring correct metadata is presented to users; plus monitoring resource use and collecting data for the evaluation of subscriptions. There is the opportunity to support membership and services, including giving tours to prospective members.
In addition to assisting with the administration of E-books, the role requires processes associated with the management of the print journal collection, including serials and donated materials, such as checking in new issues and ensuring publications are shelved correctly, applying stamps, recording invoices, recording changes in publishers' information and preparing completed volumes of serial parts for binding and checking.
There is potential to grow and develop the role, which will join our busy Acquisitions and Discovery team and assisting with administrative tasks associated with cataloguing along with supporting the Library’s internal Digitisation processes as required.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, dedicated team based in Wakefield.
This is a new post which has been developed following a research project commissioned by Prosper Wakefield District (was Wakefield and District Health and Community Support) in 2022 and carried out by Rocket Science, a national research organisation. The purpose was to identify where additional investment from Prosper could make the most impact in priority areas arising from their findings.
One key finding related to children, young people and families; this was followed up by a workshop where it was developed to focus on under 5’s in a specific area of the district. MAIN OBJECTIVES:
To establish an under 5’s network of VCSE organisations promoting capacity building, developing workforce pathways, using a child and family centred approach to respond to community need.
To work alongside an established VCSE Play organisation to support the development of a specific offer to children and families of under 5s within the Warwick neighbourhood, located in Knottingley in Wakefield District
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Community Development of Activities for Children under 5.
Using the principles of the ‘First 1000’ days research to inform the project development:
· Prepare to measure and collect data, undertake research, gather key measures on which to measure improvement, evaluate and demonstrate success, identify appropriate methods and design evaluation process, identify target group and potential organisations to become involved.
· Identify and involve key stakeholders such as parents/carers, local under 5's provision, VCSE organisations, schools, health centres, and community leaders. Hold initial meetings to introduce the initiative and gather input.
· Conduct alongside VCSE organisations a comprehensive needs assessment and engagement activities to understand parents/carers' needs, challenges, and preferences for children under 5 in the community.
· Establish a steering group with representatives from all stakeholders to guide the project and develop an action plan.
2. Support for developing the Under 5’s offer
· To research and identify, appropriate existing local training, to support the project goals.
· Develop an offer of training and workshops to the wider staff and volunteer workforce on approaches to early childhood development for VCSE staff, parents, carers, partners and community members resulting in strengthened community leadership with a strong emphasis on Safeguarding.
· Identify, document and log best practice resources already in use within the sector and identify any perceived gaps or need for activities to support need.
· Work alongside VCSE organisations and early childhood experts to identify and begin to develop developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers based on the needs and assets assessment that can be delivered in a community setting.
· Identify accessible and child friendly locations for activities and resources.
· In developing groups recognise that individuals may have a range of health inequalities that may require a trauma informed approach to the work.
· Collaborate with the local authority and health services including the Integrated Care Board for supportive policies and resources.
3. Celebrate and promote the Under 5’s offer developed through this programme
· Organise community events to introduce the activities to promote the offer and champion this with the wider community.
· Provide tasters for example on sensory play, baby yoga, music and movement, and parenting workshops, focusing on child parent interaction.
· Introduce campaigns to support the programme’s aim and share information about early childhood.
· Organise an event to celebrate programme accomplishments and positive impacts.
· Appreciate parent/carer leaders, volunteers, VCSE groups, and stakeholders.
4. Inclusive Approach
- Identify and engage marginalised groups for inclusivity. Collaborate with local organisations to enhance outreach ensuring that people experiencing health inequalities can participate.
- Adapt activities to be culturally sensitive, respecting diverse backgrounds and traditions.
- Actively promote equal opportunities, celebrate diversity and challenge discriminatory practice
5. Monitoring and recording activity, impact and evaluation
· Gather feedback from parents/carers, children, and community members about activity effectiveness. Review workforce development opportunities.
· Develop a comprehensive evaluation framework in collaboration with colleagues to demonstrate impact.
· Evaluate the impact of the capacity building programme, provide recommendations for improvement.
· Assess activity impact, identify gaps, and address barriers with the steering group.
6. Collaboration for Sustainability
· Collaborate with businesses, educational institutions, statutory partners and healthcare providers to promote the activities and gain additional resources.
· Explore further sustainable funding models for ongoing activities.
· Facilitate mentorship opportunities for VCSE groups to respond to early years needs and the trauma-informed approach as required.
· Replicate activities in new community locations.
12. Other requirements
· To ensure that all work delivered meets the requirements of Wakefield District Safeguarding Partnership and within the context of Wakefield Families Together
· To work with YLC colleagues, where agendas are aligned to avoid duplication for example, promote activities through the Young Lives Newsletter, promote activities and opportunities via www.WF-I-Can, develop joint volunteering opportunities and contribute to events, networks and mapping of services.
· To promote engagement in the emerging advisory groups for VCSE and children and young people.
· May be required to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends and travel across and outside the district.

The role includes course and funding administration, communication with students and teaching staff, registration with external bodies, and maintenance of student records.
This post requires essential knowledge of IT with a clear understanding of data input and good data management principles, attention to detail and the ability to follow strict timelines in accordance with our funders, as well as adhering to contract requirements. You must be knowledgeable in using Microsoft office packages, be keen to learn various administrative procedures and to use database systems, both internal and external. It’s an exciting time to join The National Lottery Community Fund as the Environmental Officer on a part time basis, 25 hours a week.
The National Lottery Community Fund is delivering an environmental strategy that will not only help communities we Fund but also identifies us as an exemplar in managing our own environmental impact.
The role will help lead our journey to net zero emissions by 2030, as well as support our environmental strategy both internally and externally. An interest in climate change and an understanding of environmental sustainability in the workplace will be a key part to this role as well as the confidence to bring in new ideas.
The role will sit within the Facilities team which helps support all nine of the Funds offices which are based in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
The environmental officer role will be varied but some of the key responsibilities are:
- You will be responsible for facilitating the Fund’s efforts to reduce its environmental impact and move towards being a net zero organisation by 2030. You will lead best practice around environmental sustainability across sites and engage staff to consider their own impact.
- You will draw learning and resources from external sources, to develop an array of approaches, with a view to getting all staff to consider the resources they use, irrespective of their motivation.
- You will support the Fund’s established Climate action network, ensuring that they all feel connected to and can contribute to energy and resource savings projects/initiatives/themes.
- You will ensure projects are well planned and progressed and will collate and share environmental measures to demonstrate achievements.
- You will help with environmental data capture and carbon accounting and reporting on any trends both internally and externally.
- You will also provide relevant updates to SMT and work closely with the SMT lead on environmental sustainability, highlighting any issues requiring resolution.
- The role will mainly be based in one office, but you’ll be required to engage across the Fund and develop communications that will reach all staff.
- You may be drawn into any project/team to advise on environmental sustainability.
- You will engage as the sustainable business partner with internal and external stakeholders and will support the communication of strong external messages declaring our dedication to working sustainably.
The ideal candidate for this role should have:
- Passion, commitment, and enthusiasm to help deliver our net zero targets.
- Good communication skills as well as strong analytical and report writing skills.
- Previous experience of environmental sustainability within the workplace would be beneficial.

What will you do?
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to learn and grow within the Fundraising sector.
This is an integral part of the development team, providing essential support across various fundraising initiatives and providing excellent supporter stewardship (nurturing our supporters/fundraisers on their journey with us). This is to maximise income and encourage supporters to remain engaged with our charity.
You will represent the charity at various events, meetings and networking opportunities to build opportunities with supporters to help them reach their fundraising potential!

Key responsibilities:
- Supporting Fundraisers throughout their journey with us (stewardship) such as but not limited to; send materials to fundraisers such as t-shirts, and certificates, making calls/thank you calls, sending letters to event supporters.
- Attending events and assisting with activities on the day.
- Responding to supporters’ queries and requests, providing email cover across multiple inboxes.
- Help support content for communications/marketing.
- Help support the team identify fundraising opportunities.
- Maintain, develop and update the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) system and in turn become the team's champion/subject expert.

Main duties and responsibilities:
IT
· Ensure all staff have IT equipment from their first day of work, ensuring that they are able to access the IT support they need with minimal interruption to daily tasks.
· Keep a record of all IT equipment, key information and renewals due.
· Be the first point of contact for IT provider, leading on Cyber essentials & annual IT audit.
· Lead on the implementation of strategic IT goals.
· Support the Continuous Improvement Officer to find new ways of working and ensure we stay up to date with emerging IT trends.
Data
· Maintain organisational databases, ensuring all data is accurate, meaningful, and compliant with the requirements of current and potential funders, as well as Upbeat’s policies and procedures for data.
· Liaise with Data consultants to manage workflow of data requests.
· Present data in a useful manner for stakeholders.
· Play a key role in the organisation around GDPR and Data Protection.
· Be responsible for the confidential maintenance of service user records and other relevant documents in line with Data Protection legislation (e.g. data protection impact assessments).
Facilities
· Support with office management processes (ordering stationery and equipment).
· Support in the efficient use of premises (organise key holder rota, complete regular checklists).
· Support with risk management and Health and Safety compliance (risk assessments, checklists, PAT checks).
Administration
· Provide administrative support to the charity’s projects (topping up payment cards, phone lines, donation admin).
· Assist with organising and monitoring staff training.
· Assist with the review and writing of policies and the staff handbook.
· Assist with process mapping across the organisation.
Other
· Make an active contribution to the overall work of Upbeat Communities through team meetings, staff training, awareness and fundraising events, and any other appropriate activities.

Job Overview
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager. The role will embrace a wide remit to support colleagues across our Investment Management, Sales and Operations functions with day-to-day investment administration to enable smooth operation of the company and to enhance our customer service.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Due Diligence: Conduct full operational due diligence on potential offers to be listed on the platform. This includes KYC, legal entity checks and offer document review.
· Offer management: efficiently and effectively managing the end-to-end process of creating, reviewing, tracking offers. This includes administration of post-close payments and investor updates. Serve as the central point of contact for enquiries from both the issuing clients as well as investors.
· Process improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline and optimize offer lifecycle management processes through automation, standardization, and best practices.
· Standard Operating Procedures: Ensure that process notes are kept up-to-date with any changes or enhancements to offer management processes, and make them accessible to relevant team members for training purposes.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve daily and weekly scheduling of income processing tasks, addressing complex queries while providing an excellent supporter care service, and managing Gift Aid claims efficiently.
You'll also be instrumental in providing training to others on the claims process, spotting any discrepancies, and collaborating with other fundraising teams to optimise Gift Aid claims.
In addition to your Gift Aid responsibilities, you'll process income and data onto our database, maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency. All income will be added and coded with accuracy and consistency.
To excel in this role, you'll need to adhere to data protection regulations, HMRC guidelines, and internal compliance policies rigorously. You'll also be an integral part of our Supporter Care team, fostering cross-team collaboration and contributing actively to working groups.
