As the Interim Head of Insight & Analytics, you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality insight and the availability of high-quality reporting on all aspects of Greenpeace UK’s engagement, including fundraising, campaigning, and organising. This enables Greenpeace to monitor and optimise the performance of its communications and engagement activities, to ensure that their campaigning has the greatest possible impact and builds a long-term base of engaged supporters. You will line manage a team of three analysts, aiding them to deliver high-quality and timely insight outputs to satisfy a broad range of requests, as well as proactively looking for opportunities where gaps could be filled, and greater understanding gained. You will be responsible for reporting, ensuring that fundraising and digital mobilisation teams can access accurate, up-to-date, and usable information to enable data-driven supporter engagement.
To be successful in this position, you will be a thoughtful and compassionate leader with a background in in project management to improve workflow efficiencies. You should possess the ability to ensure complete understanding of colleagues’ needs through a requirement gathering and briefing process, getting ‘under the skin’ of requests to determine what teams really need. The ability to communicate complex, technical information to non-technical staff is essential. Finally, you will have experience of building and using dashboards, together with experience in scoping, managing, and prioritising large numbers of competing requests for information.

Key responsibilities
* Programme Development, Delivery and Leadership: Lead and manage the delivery of the BBG programme, collaborating with partners, stakeholders, and the local community to develop and promote effective interventions, engaging key grassroots partners and young people.
* Community Engagement, Partnerships and Networking: Ensure local communities are informed, fostering a sense of ownership and participation. The Grants Programme Assistant will support both the Executive Director and the Assistant Manager across the remit of the SCLF’s work to help it deliver its objectives. This is a unique and interesting opportunity to join the organisation at a key point in its ten-year trajectory as it works to support schools to continue their language provision post 2026 and help shape what that future might look like.
The postholder will play a key role when it comes to supporting the Executive Director and Assistant Manager in their day-to-day roles and get very involved in the operations of the Foundation. They require an experienced Operations Manager, with strong Office Management skills to join them in May to take a lead in looking after the operational side of the charity and hold the fort, and ensure the charity is running smoothly. This is an integral role for the charity, and will entail working across the charity, with all teams. Typical day to day duties will include general administration, health and safety in the workplace, archiving, ensuring the teams have office supplies, support on any governance, liaising with trustees, pulling reports, and managing the HR system ensuring the administration is up to date, and being involved in any recruitment and onboarding.
You will bring knowledge and experience of improving processes, working on a HR system, Excel, management of new suppliers and contract management. A medium sized health education charity is seeking a Finance Officer on a full-time, permanent basis.
The organisation is an established charity that provides information and guidance on various aspects of veganism. Services range from general advice on vegan lifestyle – diet, travel, shopping etc, campaigning activities, additional services to charity members, and the certification and labelling of products based on their internationally recognised Vegan Trademark.
The organisation has around 65 staff with a turnover of around £4 million annually. Their central offices are in Birmingham, however this role can be taken on almost exclusively remotely – it is anticipated that there will be approximately 6 journeys per year required either to the Birmingham office or another mutually agreeable location – for staff events and meetings.
The role sits within a small finance team of 3, and will be highly varied covering most aspects of transactional finance. The starting salary is between £29,413 - £31,508, however they have regular salary reviews and growth in the role is possible. The ideal candidate will be AAT part-qualified with experience in a similar Finance Officer level role. Exposure to double-entry bookkeeping and an understanding of charity finance would be an advantage. Experience with Sage accounting is also useful. The organisation is a flexible employer and although the role is ultimately permanent they welcome applicants wishing to be considered on a part-time basis as part of a job share, and will also consider candidates on a shorter term fixed term contract basis if this is preferable to a permanent contract initially.

Typical duties will include:
-Work closely with the sales team and raise invoices in accordance with the sales process.
-Support the credit control function and chase outstanding payments for renewals and new business.
-Provide up-to-date debtor ledger reports as required.
-Process invoices and expenses for payment ensuring adherence to internal purchase policies and procedures.
-Provide support and guidance to staff members and chase outstanding documentation to ensure correct processes are always followed.
-On a weekly basis, process supplier payments and staff expenses online ready for authorisation.
-Support the reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, merchant platforms and aggregators.
-Maintain responsibility of designated balance sheet codes and assist with the preparation of month-end reporting.
-Ensure balance sheets are kept up to date in readiness for year-end and annual audit.
-Work closely with the Finance Manager and support the Auditor during the annual financial audit.
-Assist with the development of financial policies, streamline processes, production of working instructions and training materials.
-Support the development of financial business critical systems and processes to increase efficiency and improve user journeys.
-Investigate, report and where necessary make improvements to minimise non-compliance to ensure robust policies and procedures.
-Support the Finance Manager and make suggestions for continuous improvement of systems and processes to support business requirements.
-Support the management of the finance mailboxes and respond to emails in a timely manner.
-Act as the first point of contact and provide timely responses to internal and external stakeholders, customers and suppliers by email and over the telephone.
Candidate requirements:
-AAT part or fully-qualified
-Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer service environment.
-Good working knowledge of day-to-day transactional finance, including all aspects of purchase and sales ledger, credit control, bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation and journal entries.
-A working knowledge of VAT.
-Excellent customer service skills.
-Experience of using accounting software – Sage Cloud /Sage Intact desirable
-Knowledge and experience of working with databases and CRM systems.
-An understanding of charity finance is desirable but not essential

Are you a proactive Operations Manager wanting to work with a charity?
We are proud to be partnering with a great national organisation that supports people in the community. They provide free, independent, impartial, and confidential advice on a variety of issues. They are looking for an Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of the organisation and a suitable environment for the delivery of services on a full-time basis (35 hours a week) in their SW3 office, initially for 6 months with a possibility of becoming permanent.
You will be responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the workplace, including managing all office facilities, liaising contractors to ensure that the premises comply with legal obligations, sourcing and maintaining equipment, liaising with the IT provider to resolve IT issues, and updating the office manual. You will also contribute to the development of policies, update contracts and agreements, and support improvements to their service. You will organise a variety of meetings, including assisting with the preparation of agendas, circulation of meeting papers and record minutes as required. You will also provide recruitment administrative support and maintain accurate records on the Bright HR software.
This role requires operations and office management experience. The successful candidate will be a personable and reliable team player with experience of proposing and implementing changes to processes, knowledge of data protection regulatory requirements, and the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders. They will also show demonstrable innovative ability to suggest recommendations for improvements to processes or activities and be a proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite Programmes.
