The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills, such as confidence and motivation. We work with 13 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 825,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training. The Prince's Trust Cymru is seeking to recruit a person to be a part of the Enterprise Programme team as an Enterprise Outreach Executive, focusing on the Enterprise programme.
Working with the Programme Manager you will be responsible for working with local organisations and directly with young people to undertake targeted recruitment for and to maximise attendance on our funded programmes.
The Prince's Trust programmes are designed to encourage and motivate young people to take the next positive step in their lives whether into education, employment, training or self employment.
You will possess excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication and IT skills. An ability to work with a wide range of external/internal customers and referral agencies across the whole of Wales, along with excellent planning and organisational skills are essential.This position will require a DBS check.
Having a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the position and the circumstances and background of your offences. A copy of The Trust's Recruitment of Ex-Offenders policy is also available on request.
