Community Engagement Administrator

At OMS, we put Community Engagement at the forefront of our Strategic Goal ‘Support’ and in listening to feedback from our community including our Ambassadors, Circle Members, OMSers and other stakeholders we are excited to be investing in the recruitment of two new roles within the Community Engagement Team. To meet the needs and ambitions of our community and to be able to grow our engagement and support, the new Community Engagement Team will need to work collaboratively and creatively with our Fundraising team to identify local and national fundraising opportunities to scale and empower our community to grow.

We are looking for a proactive, organised and personable individual who is able to think creatively and out of the box, delivering the following principles that underpin our work.
Overcoming MS is the world’s leading multiple sclerosis healthy lifestyle charity established in 2012. We are unique in our whole person approach and practical evidence-based focus upon self-management of MS, formulated as a holistic program. We are registered to work in England and Wales, Scotland, the US and Australia.
The OMS program addresses those lifestyle factors that are shown to influence MS progression the most, such as diet, sedentary living, stress and a lack of vitamin D. We provide extensive tailored information and support for people living with multiple sclerosis to help them make practical changes in their day-to-day lives.

The closing date for applications is 10am on the 4th of January 2022, with shortlisted candidates invited for interview in w/c 17th January via Zoom. The interview will include a practical admin task and interview with a panel. Details to be provided to short-listed candidates.
