Community Support Lead: Partnerships 

Reports to: Community Support Manager 
Contract: Full-time 

Role Purpose 

As Community Support Lead: Partnerships, you will play a key role in strengthening the relationships that underpin HOST’s work, ensuring every hosted partner (HP) receives consistent, responsive, and values-driven support. 

You will lead on partner onboarding, engagement, and ongoing support, ensuring needs are met with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. This includes managing communications around invoices and payments, responding to general queries, and proactively identifying and escalating potential risks. 

Blending strong attention to detail with a people-first approach, you will shape and continuously improve the partner experience — from initial onboarding through to long-term collaboration — ensuring every interaction reflects HOST’s mission to support the world’s change-makers. 

Core Responsibilities 

1. Partner Engagement and Onboarding

• Lead Welcome, Onboarding, and regular check-in calls with hosted partners, building clarity, trust, and consistency in every interaction. 

• Provide clear guidance on HOST’s systems, processes, and expectations, ensuring each partner journey is well-defined and smoothly implemented. 

• Identify risks, issues, or emerging support needs during interactions, and promptly share these with the Community Support Manager. 

• Support escalations and follow-up actions to maintain a high-quality, responsive partner experience. 

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communications, ensuring relevant information, issues, and risks are clearly documented and shared across the team. 

• Negotiate PAYF contributions, add-on pricing, and additional services, ensuring partner needs are met efficiently and effectively. 

Reporting cadence: Weekly summary and inclusion in monthly CS reporting. 

2. Query Resolution and Partner Care 

• Respond to general hosted partner queries with accuracy, clarity, and empathy, achieving a minimum 90% satisfaction score. 

• Ensure at least 90% of queries receive an initial response within 24 hours. 

• Maintain consistently high standards of written and verbal communication, reflecting HOST’s values of integrity, care, and responsiveness. 

• Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to ensure partner needs are resolved promptly and effectively. 

Reporting cadence: Weekly dashboard updates and monthly performance reporting. 

3. Partner Relationship and Invoice Management 

• Work closely with hosted partners to amend invoices and resolve payment queries accurately and in a timely manner. 

• Ensure all payment-related communications and outcomes are clearly documented in ClickUp and Zendesk. 

• Monitor and report on invoice corrections, identifying trends and opportunities for process improvement. 

Reporting cadence: Monthly 

4. Risk Identification, Screening and Escalation 

• Identify and assess potential financial, operational, or reputational risks arising from partner interactions. 

• Conduct initial screening of partner-related concerns in line with HOST’s due diligence processes. 

• Escalate identified risks promptly to the Community Support Manager or relevant stakeholders for review and mitigation. 

• Contribute to monthly Community Support risk reporting and ongoing team learning. 

Reporting cadence: Real-time escalation of risks, with consolidated monthly reporting. 

5. Community Support Administration 

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records across ClickUp, Zendesk, and internal systems. 

• Support the review and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and clarity across processes. 

• Contribute to internal administrative tasks, ensuring operational readiness for audits, reviews, and ongoing compliance. 

Reporting cadence: Monthly 

6. Community Support Resources and User Journey 

• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Community Support materials, guidance, and onboarding resources. 

• Support the enhancement of the hosted partner user journey, ensuring all touchpoints are clear, consistent, and aligned with HOST’s values. 

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify gaps and opportunities to strengthen the overall partner experience. 

Reporting cadence: Quarterly reviews with recommendations for improvement. 

7. Growth and Learning Areas (Development Focus) 

• Take ownership of more complex hosted partners with advanced operational or financial requirements. 

• Support the development of new Community Support Leads through training, mentoring, and sharing best practice. 

• Deliver or support hosted partner Health Checks, ensuring all follow-up actions and documentation are completed effectively. 

Reporting cadence: As directed by the Community Support Manager. 

You Bring 

• Experience in operations, client service, or relationship management within HOST. 

• Strong organisational skills with a focus on accuracy, responsiveness, and care. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging across cultures and time zones. 

• Familiarity with digital tools such as ClickUp, Zendesk, and cloud-based systems. 

• A proactive mindset — curious, calm under pressure, and committed to service excellence. 

Key Relationships 

Internal: Community Support Team, Finance & Operations, Communications, Partnerships, and Capacity Building teams. 
External: Hosted partners, funders, and service providers. 

Performance Indicators 

• 90% of hosted partner queries receive an initial response within 24 hours 

• Maintain a hosted partner satisfaction score of 90% or higher 

• Resolve invoice corrections and payment requests within agreed monthly timeframes 

• Escalate all identified risks within 8 hours of detection 

• Ensure SOPs and system records are reviewed and updated on a monthly basis

Salary: Grade A - £26,978 to £29,663

Are you a highly organised, hands‑on events professional with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences? We’re looking for an Events Lead to join our team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality commercial events that enhance student experience and drive income.

Working alongside fellow Events Leads, you will take ownership of the planning, coordination and delivery of Union‑run and externally booked events. From initial confirmation through to live delivery, you’ll ensure every event is professionally managed, safely delivered and runs seamlessly.

As Volunteer and Community Support Officer you will support the London & South East Area Manager and Regional Managers with volunteer recruitment, documentation of training (such as DBS, references, Food Safety Level 2, First Aid), giving our volunteers a fantastic experience, guest outreach and giving extra support to our London & South East projects as and when required to aid development within the region.

As well as projects across London, our projects include projects across the South Coast and South East and this role will require regular visits across the area.

ROLE PURPOSE

This role provides person-centred employment and progression support to individuals facing barriers to financial wellbeing, including homelessness or risk of homelessness. Working with a managed caseload, this role will support participants to build confidence and employability skills, and progress towards meaningful, sustained employment, further education, or accredited training.

The role includes a blend of structured employability support, responsive frontline 121 work combined with corporate partnership skills.  This role will work directly with Freedom Trainees and Mustard Tree clients, supporting walk-ins, referrals, and longer-term participants. This role will represent our values through high-quality, compassionate, and professional service delivery.

This role combines direct participant support, employability delivery, employer engagement working with the Salford Area Manager. You will work across our Eccles and Little Hulton sites, helping create meaningful opportunities that enable participants’ progression.

We are looking for a Housing Night Worker to join our team at Guildford Foyer. You will respond promptly to any reported incidents, accidents, or concerns, carrying out thorough checks and taking appropriate action to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone on site. You will also take a proactive approach to preventing anti‑social behaviour, working closely with support staff to maintain a positive environment. In addition, you will carry out one‑to‑one interventions with young people who may be experiencing a mental health crisis or who require medical assistance, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate support.

• Work collaboratively on a four‑on, four‑off rota, providing consistent, non‑judgemental support overnight.

• Take part in ongoing training and reflective practice to support psychologically informed care.

This role involves lone working, so you will need to be confident in decision‑making and in following procedures. About the role

The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of The Brilliant Club’s HR operations. Sitting within a wider HR team, this role is primarily focused on delivering high quality administrative support across the employee lifecycle, particularly in relation to attraction, recruitment, selection, onboarding and offboarding activity.

Working closely with the HR Director and wider HR team, the HR Coordinator will help ensure that HR processes are delivered efficiently, consistently and with excellent attention to detail. Main Duties and Responsibilities

Job purpose

Reporting to the Schools Service Manager, the Schools Coordinator role will mainly be responsible for delivering the Schools Service and local offer to primary and secondary school settings. This includes (not an exhaustive list): 

• Being the single point of contact for primary and secondary schools within the designated local educational authority areas, including non-mainstream settings; 

• Working to set targets, KPIs and reach plans as agreed by your line manager; 

• Responsibility for booking a minimum number of schools to deliver our Speak out. Stay safe programme;

Purpose of the Job

Role Requirements

This role aims to address the additional barriers and needs faced by overindebted individual, ensuring they are supported in navigating these challenges and can focus on the debt advice process effectively. As a Money Engagement Officer you will work across our various community partners, delivering money mentoring support and income maximisation services to local communities with the aim of promoting financial resilience and wellbeing. You will also provide assist in collecting essential documents and information for advisers to progress their cases. You will maintain accurate client and project records and contribute/support Manager(s) with effective project monitoring and reporting. You will capture learning to share with project stakeholders to help inform Rooted Finance’s wider approach to financial inclusion services.

Key functions and impact of the role will include;

Outreach and Engagement: Actively engage overindebted individual through various outreach initiatives such as community events, workshops, and partnerships with local organisations to raise awareness about debt advice to encourage individuals to seek help early and facilitate this through practical 121 support.

Support and guidance: Provide ongoing support needs to keep people with money worries engaged in the debt advice journey. Often people struggling with money worries have additional barriers and needs, this role focuses on the 'support function' which will be available to help people navigate barriers so they can focus on the specialist debt advice needed and offered through Rooted Finance and other support services.

Referral and Collaboration: foster a cohesive relationship to build partnerships and to collaborate with debt advice services, community organisations, and other stakeholders to facilitate referrals and ensure a seamless transition into debt advice services. Maintain strong partnerships with service providers to enhance accessibility and support for individuals in need.

Empowerment and Education: Equip our services users by providing ‘digestible’ financial education, coaching, and advocacy to help them make informed decisions, improve their financial literacy, and build long-term financial resilience. Data Collection and Reporting: maintain accurate records of all outcomes, advocacy and support provided to all individuals, diligently record outcomes to track the effectiveness of the triage process and measure the impact of the engagement efforts on increasing access to debt advice and other services.

Duties & Responsibilities: The main duties will include

1. Work closely with RF advice team in identifying client’ needs to work together to implement a holistic approach to supporting individuals.

2. Manage a joint caseload with debt advisers to ensure successful engagement in the debt advice journey, monitor progress and maintain diligent records across all systems

3. Working closely with advisers to support their more vulnerable clients

4. Delivering both 121 and group sessions to build individuals’ financial knowledge and resilience.

5. Increasing the visibility and awareness of the advice services through external events and roadshows

6. Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients to facilitate engagement in debt advice journey by explaining and outlining what debt advice offers, support to engage in attending debt advice appointment, follow up with obtaining required documents, make effective referrals for additional services and provide on-going support.

7. Draw up a personalised plan supporting clients to access and engage with the extensive range of support available in the community. Actively connect clients with a wide variety of services through signposting for additional help around health, wellbeing, housing, welfare, immigration, social support and financial advice. 

8. Identify aftercare support to help individuals increase their ability around ongoing financial capability and literacy skills and to reduce further and future financial exclusions

9. Working with, and recruiting clients to, our Lived Experience Steering Committee

10. Provide one to one/group sessions to encourage and increase engagement in the debt advice service

11. Develop marketing and creative initiatives to promote and engage with service users to increase uptake in debt advice service and increase full journey completion.

12. Ensure all project monitoring requirements are adhered to and all learning (including risks and opportunities) is captured and recorded in a timely manner.

13. Perform consistent impact measurements on project components, including undertaking financial wellbeing checks before, during and after, beneficiary engagement with RF service in a non-intrusive manner

Qualification 

Desirable: Educated to a degree standard or equivalent. 

Essential: Relevant professional qualification (i.e.CMA Connect Money Mentor training)/ or equivalent gained through experience Evidence of continued professional development 

Skills

Desirable: Excellent understanding of the principles and current best practice in debt, financial capability and financial inclusion.

Essential: Knowledge and understanding of the welfare benefit system and experience of advising customers on benefits.Understanding and commitments to the aims, principles, values and quality standards of Rooted Finance services. Awareness of, and ability to, understand and empathise with clients from a diverse range of backgrounds and disadvantaged groups living in the community, in particular barriers faced by over-indebted and financially excluded communities. Ability to use sensitive listening and questioning skills to get to the root of the issues and empower clients Ability to remain non-judgmental and apply active listening Ability to provide outstanding customer service Good communications skills – including written and personal presentation skills.
