Oxfam Great Britain is looking for Conflict and Peacebuilding Senior Adviser. The role will support the delivery of Oxfam’s Rights, Resilience, and Response (RRR) strategy in contexts where conflict and/or systemic root causes of fragility prevent sustained and inclusive peace.
The role will work collaboratively with Oxfam country teams and partners to design and implement interventions using a triple nexus approach.
What we are looking for
Our Conflict and Peacebuilding Senior Adviser will support the definition of Oxfam GB’s specific contribution to the confederation’s work on Rights, Resilience, and Response.
The job holder will contribute to the development of a coherent set of programme approaches, especially conflict sensitivity and peacebuilding tools and frameworks that cut across context specificities and will enable to work of colleagues based in countries and regions for the development and implementation of RRR interventions.
This role will give you an opportunity to support Oxfam’s work on rights, resilience, and response, and to act as key contributor and enabler to regional and country teams. You will work with a group of passionate people that are seeking to address the systemic root causes of conflict and fragility.
