Job description

‘Mary took a pound of costly perfume…’

Generosity is a key enabler of our extraordinary vision of a more Christ-like Church for the sake of God’s world. Mary showed us all how to live a generous life, but emulating her generosity today isn’t easy and the reasons for that aren’t always understood.

We’re looking for someone Biblically-literate, creative, with experience in fundraising who understands how people in our churches tick.  Someone who’ll work strategically with and through others to take forward the successful progress we’ve made across our 600 parishes.

With over 200 churches already signed up to the Parish Giving Scheme, we have a programme that’s starting to ignite a culture of generous giving right across the Diocese.

Do you want to make a difference to this unfolding story? You’ll need to be a confident public speaker, a natural networker and able and willing to travel across the Thames Valley area. If that’s you then please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.

Enable others to be more like Mary.

Hours:             37 hours per week
