Adopter Champion


Based: South East
Permanent, part time (4 hours per week)

FTE Salary in range £21,610 - £26,412 per annum (£11.23 - £13.73 per hour)

PACT’s Adopter Champions are our vital team of experts by experience, adopters who provide support and share real life experiences about the adoption journey.

You will be part of PACT’s post-adoption support team, and will offer help, advice and reassuring emotional and practical support to families at different stages of their adoption journey.   You will also raise awareness of adoption, and the realities of adopting, through sharing your personal stories via online and media channels.

This is an exciting, satisfying, flexible and varied role supporting a priority area for PACT and requires someone who is passionate about supporting PACT families.

We would particularly welcome applications from:

  • Single adopters,

  • BME adopters,

  • Adopters who have been adopting for four years or more,

  • Adopters who have experience of overcoming challenges within their adopter journey

You will be empathetic, well organised, energetic, and confident speaking to the general public as well as personally motivated to promote adoption and PACT’s services.
