Job description

A large Charity in Central London is looking for a Junior Accounts Receivable Assistant to join the team immediately to support of the team to ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts receivable transactions by gathering payment information and contacting customers with outstanding invoices.

Client Details

A large UK Wide Charity, with their HQ in Central London


· Accounting for income for Corps, and Social Trust

· Follow-up on all outstanding Remittance advices and Schedules

· Ensure that all unallocated items are being followed up and escalated

· Liaise with stakeholders such as funders and internal staff to ensure queries related to unallocated payments or unpaid invoices are resolved

· Ensure all Account Receivable filings are done correctly for audit purposes

· To ensure compliance with Salvation Army policies and procedures

· Support line managers with ad hoc requests,

· Performs other duties and responsibilities as and when required to support the finance team as a whole


Excellent interpersonal and team working skills combined with an ability to communicate professionally both verbal and in writing

Able to work under pressure Experience prioritising tasks

Able to work efficiently from home (3 days per week)

Owns own windows laptop (not Chromebook or Apple) (PC available at THQ)

Ok to use their own equipment (ie laptop/phone) when WFH
