How to apply
Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) is a community of people working together for peace, equality, and justice and against racism, occupation, and colonisation. Together we are the biggest organisation in the UK dedicated to securing Palestinian human rights. We aim to build a mass campaign to raise public awareness about the occupation of Palestine and the struggle of the Palestinian people. We seek to bring pressure on both the British and Israeli governments to bring their policies in line with international law. We support the Palestinian call for boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) until Israel ends its violations of Palestinian rights.
PSC is a membership organisation with a network of over 60 branches who take our core campaigns to their local communities. In this key role you will offer support to these branches in developing their local campaigning and helping ensure coordination across campaigns. You will support the development of new branches working closely alongside branch officers. As part of PSC’s dynamic national campaigns team, you will create resources for campaigns, help coordinate national days of action and contribute to the development of campaign plans. You will have some knowledge of contemporary campaign techniques and of applying them within a membership organisation with a branch structure, and good knowledge of the core issues central to PSC’s campaign for justice for the Palestinian people. You will be a confident IT user, a strong team player, able to learn new skills quickly, and show clear and demonstrable commitment to anti-racism, equality and diversity.
