Are you keen to develop health projects to help improve early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer? Then this could be the role for you!
We are looking for someone with experience in health policy and projects to develop and deliver the charity’s policy and campaigning strategy and programme of health projects under the charity’s vision. You will maintain and further develop health information resources, build engagement with the NHS, Department of Health, policy makers, charity and patient groups to develop and deliver our campaigning strategy. You will build engagement with HCP networks and related organisations to inform and support delivery of our health information and project work.
You will need a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) level of qualification in life sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience and have a demonstrable experience delivering healthcare information and education projects, with a good knowledge of NHS processes and structures in Primary Care.
You will have a keen interest in campaigning and a basic understanding and awareness of parliamentary processes across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
You will need a proven track record of developing and evaluating policy ideas which have had an external impact and to be an excellent communicator, able to build effective working relationships.
