Job Description

About us

Pancreatic cancer is a tough one but we’re taking it on. We are supporting those affected by the disease, investing in ground-breaking research, lobbying for greater recognition of pancreatic cancer and being a voice for everyone involved in the fight. Together we are taking on pancreatic cancer.

It is an exciting time to join the charity as the Mass Market Fundraising programme is growing, as we launch new fundraising opportunities, partnerships and move into a new digital strategy

The role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven applicant who has a demonstrable track record of launching and delivering successful mass participation events. You will be joining us at a time where Pancreatic Cancer UK is just commencing a new, exciting growth strategy with significant investment into the Mass Fundraising Team.

You will be responsible for the development, delivery and success of our brand new mass participation event, with the aim to grow the flagship event in other regions of the UK.

Developing relationships with supporters, external agencies, and other partners will also be key.

About you

You will be familiar with mass market fundraising and stewardship of supporters and have direct experience of managing and delivering events as well as developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns. You will have excellent project management skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage successfully with external stakeholders to get results. Launching a new mass participation event will excite you.

Working with us

We are an inclusive employer committed to developing a diverse workforce and are looking for people who can demonstrate dedication to our cause and values. We offer a supportive place to work with helpful and friendly staff who report a high level of job satisfaction. Our open-plan office is based in London on the river with views toward Westminster. We operate a mixed system of hot-desking and static desks depending on team and charity requirements. We are always happy to discuss flexibility in light of the needs of the role.
