Community Development Officer (Cardiff)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing team as PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide expands in Wales. PAPYRUS is the national charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide. Suicide is the biggest killer of young people – male and female – under 35 in the UK. We exist to reduce the number of young people who take their own lives.
Our Community Development Officer will deliver PAPYRUS’ suite of training and awareness raising courses and help to identify and engage with local communities, volunteers and key partners across South Wales. The post will be based in Cardiff but with travel across the region expected. The role will include engaging organisations and those who work with young people. Applications are invited from candidates who are passionate about saving young lives.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
