Job description

Are you looking for an excellent entry level opportunity where you’ll learn and develop new skills in fundraising events? 

You’ll play an active role to support our busy fundraising events team while providing general administration including dealing with income enquiries and events management support to deliver a wide range of event activity across the portfolio. You’ll be the first point of contact in delivering exceptional supporter care to help our events fundraisers to achieve their goals in order to maximise income generation. 

You’ll help us achieve our ambitious fundraising goals to support everyone affected by Parkinson’s.

What you’ll do: 

·         Assist the Head of Events to plan, manage and develop Parkinson’s UK fundraising events to deliver agreed income, expenditure and profile targets

·         Supporting the Events team with event specific administration tasks such as, sending out high quality thank you correspondences to supporters and researching venues

·         Responsible for the management of team email inboxes including responding to requests and dealing with enquiries

·         Assist and work with the Events team to develop promotional materials to support event activity 

What you’ll bring: 

·         A keen interest in events management, particularly fundraising events

·         Ability to multitask in a busy team environment, able to prioritise your own workload and using initiative to resolve and respond to requests 

·         Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a range of people

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels providing clear information, support and advice
