Specific Duties:
Strategic Planning and Development
Alongside the Board of Trustees and the Senior Management Team:
• Monitoring and updating the Business Plan
• Developing and implementing a financial strategy for the Business Plan
• Oversight and updating of organisational Theory of Change, ensuring KPIs for all programmes are in line with our vision and mission, and are achievable as well as ambitious
• Continued development and monitoring of the new Community Hub Programme in partnership with other local strategic partnerships
• Prioritising the articulation and communication of the Ark-T methodology and approaches to using the arts for improved wellbeing and mental health across our programmes and sharing best practice across the team
• Prioritising the reach and engagement of Ark-T programmes to a larger and more diverse audience representative of our surrounding communities
• Recruiting an increasingly diverse team of Trustees with the skills, contacts and time to contribute effectively to the running of the charity
Management of Staff, Freelancers and Volunteers
• Recruiting key staff and others.
• Leading, managing and developing direct reports and supporting them in managing their key workers – staff, freelancers and volunteers.
• Ensuring that processes for the recruitment and management of volunteers are developed and maintained
• Liaising with external HR consultants to update procedure and processes appropriately and managing staffing matters arising
• Enabling a safe, stimulating and supportive workplace where teams and activities can flourish and work standards and practices are maintained.
• Taking steps to ensure that staff and freelancers attain high standards of work.

Finance & Fundraising
• Researching and writing funding bids to secure both restricted and unrestricted funds
• Exploring other possible sources of funding for programmes and core costs, including individual donors, corporate sponsorship and commercial opportunities.
• Working with the Finance Manager, Treasurer, and external
Bookkeeper, including using Xero software, to monitor the finances of the charity to ensure that sufficient funds are attracted to run planned programmes, meet the commitments of the charity within agreed budgets, and produce regular reports.
• Maintaining adequate reserves for the charity in line with policy.
• Preparing the annual report and accounts for submission to the Charity Commission to be independently examined alongside the Chair and the Bookkeeper.
Management of the Buildings
• Overseeing relationship with Landlords and tenancy agreements
• Managing Centre Manager to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
Partnerships & Representing the organisation
• Represent Ark-T as a leader in arts for improved mental health and wellbeing, driving change, particularly diversity and inclusion through influencing and contributing to the key meetings.
• Maintaining relationships and strategic partnership agreements with OX4 Food Crew Alliance, Oxford Community Action, Donnington Doorstep, Safe! and Waste2Taste.
Communications
• Overseeing the marketing and communications for Ark-T.
• Ensuring that key stakeholders are kept informed of the progress of the charity,
including the publication of an organisational wide impact report in 2024.

The ‘Wilder Marches’ is an iconic cultural and ecological landscape straddling the English Welsh border, broadly defined by the Radnorshire Hills and Clun & NW Herefordshire national landscape character areas. Wilder Marches is also the name of a new initiative to bring about nature’s recovery by creating and restoring habitat at scale in partnership with land managers and other agencies.
The project is currently in a development phase, with the aim of this phase is to create specific projects, to secure funding for expansion, and to begin building a team of land management, green finance advisors, and project officers. One of these workstreams is the establishment of a business model that will be sustainable in the long term. This will be the primary responsibility of the successful candidate to further develop and deliver.
Due to upcoming maternity leave, there is an opportunity to join the Wilder Marches team as Business Development Manager on a fixed term basis.
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for developing new business models leveraging emerging green finance 2 approaches to support nature’s recover to enable long term programme sustainability and delivery.
The candidate will be expected to research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services. They will develop business models and plans to enable sustainable revenue for the programme. The candidate will present findings to the steering board for approval, and then provide a detailed road map to enable delivery of this. Some operational work including establishment of legal structures, development of a customer base and contract management may be required as part of the role.

About The Role
A core strand of The Money Charity’s offering is helping adults in their place of work or in their local community to build the skills, knowledge, attitudes and behaviours to manage their money well. Our work has never been more needed with the pressures of the cost of living crisis, which whilst having a material impact on many people’s Financial Resilience, has opened up opportunities to talk to people about money and help them engage with their finances at this challenging time.
We do this by partnering with employers and community organisations to deliver a range of interactive Financial Wellbeing Workshops and Webinars to employees, volunteers and service users. The sessions are engaging, interactive and bring the topic of money management to life. We are looking for a new Freelance Consultant to add to our network of Financial Wellbeing specialists who deliver our sessions both in their region and virtually. The successful candidate will deliver Workshops both virtually (primarily via Zoom or Microsoft Teams) and face-to-face. This role will therefore involve a reasonable amount of travel within your region and occasionally more widely across the UK.
This Consultant will deliver both funded (free-of-charge) in Community settings and commercial (paid-for) Workshops in the Workplace. From time to time Consultants may also be used to support the delivery of a range of Financial Wellbeing Consultancy projects which can include, but is not limited to, the development and/or delivery of bespoke Workshops and Webinars.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Delivery & Development
- Deliver The Money Charity’s Financial Wellbeing sessions in Workplaces and/or adult Community settings in your region and virtually, in accordance with the process and quality standards set out by the charity
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and host organisations

Yeldall Manor is a Christian addiction recovery centre where we see men's lives changing on a daily basis.
If you have admin experience, IT skills, and great attention to detail, we’d love you to join us in this part-time role assisting with administration relating to our supporters and their donations, as well as other admin tasks.

MAIN TASKS OF THE JOB:
Supporter Relations Admin: Assisting the Administration & Supporter Relations Manager to maximise support (finance, prayer & goodwill) for Yeldall Manor through the development and maintenance of good relationships with the supporters of Yeldall’s work (individuals and churches) including:
- Processing and recording cheque, cash, BACS, standing order and giving website donations
- Sending thank you letters

This is a new role taking full ownership of all strategic and operational elements of the HR function, supporting an organisation of 25 people, reporting directly into our CEO, Richard Bowyer.
The successful candidate will coordinate all elements of the employee lifecycle and ensure the charity is a great place to work by supporting line managers, being the key point of contact for staff welfare, and owning the employee engagement survey process.
They will lead on key HR projects – such as EDI strategy development & rollout, implementation of an HRIS and new payroll provider, and creating a staff handbook.
The HR Business Partner will be a standalone role, overseeing all strategic and operational HR functions including:

Role purpose
• To provide leadership to Caxton for the charity to achieve its mission and deliver to its
beneficiaries.
• To be responsible for developing current services and developing new services that
benefit the young people of Caxton and is youth-led.
• To work with the Board and SLT to achieve its 2023-26 business strategy, plans and
targets - while ensuring the Board fulfils its responsibilities in the governance of the

Main Responsibilities
Leadership
• Provide, develop and implement Caxton’s strategic and operational plans, leading on
partnership and business development, and being an effective advocate for the charity
and our beneficiaries..
• Provide leadership for all Caxton employees, volunteers and associates including
direct management responsibility for three employees to ensure that Caxton delivers a
safe, effective and fun service for all of its members and their families.
Strategy
• To deliver the 2023-26 strategy.
• Implement a strategy review in the Autumn and tailor the operational plan accordingly.
• Identify and assess strategic risks, issues and opportunities and take responsibility for initiating and leading associated changes, with agreement from trustees.
Business Development:
• Work closely with the Fundraising Manager to ensure Caxton raises c.£500k pa to maintain in-years services.
• Work towards the achievement of long-term sustainability, developing the charity’s business model and maximising income, for example from fundraising, service contracts and earned income.
• To lead on the development of Caxton’s outdoor base and capital campaign

Financial Control and Governance
• Liaise with the Board, Senior Management Team and Accountants to ensure that the charity’s overall governance structure, policies and procedures are appropriate and effective, taking remedial measures and implementing changes as necessary in line with legal requirements and good practice.
• To ensure that adequate finance is available and to work with the Treasurer and the Finance and Facilities Officer, to produce regular management accounts and annual audited accounts in line with requirements.
• To attend all board meetings and quarterly subcommittee meetings, working with trustees on strategic matters.
Buildings Management
• To take accountability for the building management and compliance, working with the finance and facilities officer to ensure regular checks are made and the building is maintained within a budget.
Day-to-day Management
• Day-to-day management of the service to ensure it continues to be safe and effective. This includes being the safeguarding lead for the organisation.
Youth Government and Leadership
• To attend monthly Youth Government meetings and ensure that you are always amplifying the youth voice.
• To communicate effectively with young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities.
• To liaise with external agencies and create new opportunities for youth leadership.
External Relations
• To develop and maintain positive relationships with private sector donors, statutory, partners and funding organisations.
• To develop and maintain positive relationships with partners, local businesses, funders and other voluntary organisations, building alliances and networks to further the work of Caxton Youth Organisation.
• To promote and publicise the work of Caxton Youth Organisation.

Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Charity Operations Manager to run the smooth, effective operation of the organisation so we can best support people in the UK living with thyroid disease. This is a management role leading on all operational activities, supporting and working in close collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Salary will be reviewed after an initial 6 month probationary period.
This role involves minimal supervision and is responsible for the day to day running and management of the charity.
General office management:
· General secretarial and administrative support including routine office tasks where needed
· To manage all operational activity of the charity according to the strategic direction provided by the Board of Trustees

Support the CEO:

In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, organisation and delivery of Picker's programme of events. This will include two in-person conferences with attendees from across the United Kingdom as well as regular online events during the year. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective planning and delivery. Job Purpose
Your legacy will be a tangible impact on slowing down climate change and helping nature recover by providing operational support to help Avon Needs Trees (ANT) to achieve its goals to plant hundreds of thousands of trees and enhance complementary habitats.
