Battersea, Greater London
Job description

Paul's Cancer Support Centre works with people with cancer and their friends / carers by offering a range of complementary therapies including massage, reflexology as well as counselling / befriending and a full programme of classes such as yoga, dance and therapeutic photography.

We are currently looking for volunteer counsellors and befrienders to work with clients for our Home Visiting Service which supports clients in their own homes in southeast / southwest and central London. The people you would be working with are either in intensive treatment or are at a stage of their cancer where they are unable to travel in to our Centre.

If you are interested in volunteering with our Home Visiting Service you will need to do our training course which takes place over four Saturdays (first session October 5th) and five Tuesday evenings. We ask that you see one client at a time in a location convenient to where you live or work. We provide free supervision for all volunteers.
