London, Greater London
£33,000 per year
Contract, Full-time
Job description

We’re looking for a brilliant Peer Support Officer to develop and deliver a voluntary peer support programme alongside women across London. You will work closely with the nine Pause Practices currently being delivered in London. This post is one of several being piloted across the Pause network to test and develop new approaches to Next Steps.

We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to ensuring that women who have experience of the Pause programme are at the heart of decision-making, and that we work together to learn, collaboratively solve challenges and grow.

Pause is keen to encourage applicants from as diverse a range of candidates as possible, to better reflect the range of women we work with. We would particularly like to hear from people who have lived experience of children’s services, and from BAME communities, both of whom are currently underrepresented in the national team.

If you think this may be the job for you then please download the briefing document and application form, as well as the declaration form.

If you would like to talk to us before making an application please call Jo Crellen, using the number in the briefing document.

Application deadline:                               9am, 17th August 2020

First interview and assessment:             26th and 27th August 2020

Second interviews if required:                w/c 1st September 2020
