Pebblebeach are delighted to be working with Your Voice in Health and Social Care to recruit a Fundraising Manager.
Your Voice in Health and Social Care (YVHSC) is a charity that gives people a voice to improve and shape services and help them get the best out of health and social care provisions. They are a provider of valued, required services that reflect the needs of the community whilst ensuring the needs of the communities within which we serve are represented. Recently, YVHSC has been successful in winning a contract to deliver support to Carers in Lewisham and is in the process of expanding its offer to also include Young Carers.
This is a very exciting start-up fundraising operation with many opportunities. Although you’ll be supported by a passionate and experienced CEO and a skilled management and staff team working across the charity, this is a stand-alone position and as such you’ll need to be suitably driven, tenacious, resilient and prepared to start from scratch in many respects. That said, there is some history of fundraising and some very important current donor relationships.
You will have a background in fundraising (ideally within a social or health service-related charity), be adept at stakeholder engagement, have experience of operating with and influencing people from all walks of life, and, importantly, have experience of funding and fundraising for new initiatives. The fundraising plan has yet to be developed, that’s what they would expect from you, but it is likely to include aspects of community, corporate, Trusts and Foundations and legacy fundraising.
This role would suit someone who is ambitious and dynamic and looking to make their mark in their fundraising career.
