Southampton Hospitals Charity is looking for an organised and motivated Supporter Care Assistant to join our team. We are committed to excellent stewardship, so every supporter feels valued and confident that their gift is making a difference.
As the first point of contact for many of our donors, you will play an important part in delivering a consistently high standard of customer service.
In this role, you will look after our supporter care inbox, responding to a wide range of enquiries, from questions about donations to more sensitive concerns, with empathy, care and efficiency. You will also help to process incoming post, making sure donors receive the right thanks and acknowledgement for their support.
Working across our different income streams, you will help us deliver thoughtful, well-planned stewardship. You will use our CRM, to keep records accurate, up to date and compliant, ensuring preferences are recorded and that every supporter is looked after appropriately.
You will bring strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and experience of providing excellent customer support. Main Responsibilities

Supporter care and administration

• Manage the supporter care inbox, responding to enquiries, feedback and complaints in a timely, professional and compassionate way.
• Process donations and supporter information accurately, following agreed procedures and ensuring acknowledgements are issued promptly.
• Maintain high-quality supporter records on the CRM, capturing key details and preferences and ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
• Support stewardship activity by preparing and sending thank-you communications and helping to deliver supporter journeys across in memory and legacy income streams.
• Process and thank donations received via post, sign posting to colleagues using our CRM when appropriate.
• Lead on the processing and thanking of campaign income as a result of our fundraising appeals and campaigns.
• Work closely with colleagues to resolve queries and continuously improve the supporter experience, identifying themes and suggesting practical improvements.

Supporter communications and relationship building

• Provide friendly, clear and consistent communication with supporters by email, telephone and post.
• Handle sensitive conversations with care, including bereavement-related enquiries and in-memory giving, signposting to colleagues where needed.
• Supporting the IMO and Legacy Manager to identify and fulfil key touch points in the supporters’ journey to enable donations and assist in providing communications as the need arises.

Teamwork and collaboration

• Work closely with colleagues across the charity to share information, resolve queries and ensure supporters receive a joined-up experience.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive team culture by being approachable, dependable and willing to help where needed.

Supporter care compliance

• Support the accurate input and maintenance of supporter data, ensuring records are updated promptly and consistently.
• Follow data protection and fundraising compliance requirements, including recording consent and communication preferences.

Person Specification

Knowledge and experience

• Experience in a customer service or supporter care role, responding to a range of enquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Experience of processing and recording information accurately, following agreed procedures and meeting deadlines.
• A strong understanding of what excellent stewardship looks like, with a focus on supporter satisfaction and retention.
• Confidence using IT systems, including Outlook, Word and Excel, and experience of working with a CRM or database (or the willingness to learn).

Salary:  £67,752 per annum with excellent benefits
Contract type:  Permanent, full time or part time
Hours per week:  37.5 hours per week. All staff are required to work in person for a minimum of two days per week, in line with our hybrid working policy. The post-holder may be required to undertake some work outside normal working hours.

About the role:
The IT Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective, reliable and secure operation of the Foundation’s IT services and infrastructure. The role oversees the day-to-day management of service delivery, infrastructure, and cybersecurity functions, ensuring systems are robust, resilient and able to meet the evolving needs of the organisation. Working closely with colleagues across the Foundation, the postholder ensures that technology services enable productivity, support research and analysis, and safeguard the organisation’s information assets. The role provides leadership to the Service Desk and Infrastructure & Security teams, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality support and the continuous improvement of IT services, processes, and controls.

• Ensure delivery of a comprehensive, reliable and secure IT service across service desk, infrastructure, core applications and cybersecurity, including proactive maintenance, patching and resilience measures.
• To utilise, maintain, evaluate and contribute to the development of the Foundation’s operational cyber assurance, coordinating security testing, driving remediation, and
  maintaining the operational cyber risk register with reporting to governance forums.
• Take all steps necessary to lead major incident management, coordinating technical response, ensuring timely stakeholder communication, conducting post‑incident reviews and driving service improvement actions.
• To establish, maintain and develop effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers/MSPs to ensure value for money, performance, compliance and
  continuous improvement.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for community children’s nurse to join our friendly, established community health team. We are a busy service with a diverse caseload working with service families and children in Cyprus.

We are looking for a confident, innovative paediatric nurse. You will be required to work in conjunction with the visiting Community Paediatrician and Consultant Paediatricians who provide secondary car as well as the medical officers and GPs, members of the SSAFA Community Health Care Team, schools, and voluntary agencies in your local area.

About the team

You will be based in the Medical Centre working alongside the primary health care team. You will need to be a flexible practitioner, a good team player and be able to develop collaborative working relationships with other healthcare professionals, services, and agencies.

You will have the ability to provide case management of an identified case load of children and young people with complex needs. You should have excellent interpersonal skills to support you in managing complex discussions with a range of agencies and individuals including care providers, patients, and relatives.

About CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

The Role

CoppaFeel! is looking for a Corporate Partnerships Executive to play an essential role in our Partnerships Team. This role will play a key role in supporting the execution of our new business strategy; identifying leads to build a strong prospect pipeline, creating proposals and pitching to secure exciting and impactful new partnerships for CoppaFeel!.

You will be the first point of contact when enquiries arrive from our website or our corporate inbox and you will manage the stewardship and donor journey of these leads.

The Corporate Partnerships Executive will sit within the Partnerships Team as part of the Fundraising Directorate, and will work closely with the other Corporate Partnerships Executive and Corporate Partnerships Manager. They will report to the Corporate Partnerships Manager. This role will support the team with stewardship of existing partners and fundraisers as well as administration; such as sending invoices, writing thank you letters, sending out fundraising materials, and much more. This role also will be required to attend fundraising and partnership events to represent CoppaFeel!.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the Corporate Partnerships Manager with building and maintaining a pipeline of prospect corporate partners, nurturing relationships to grow into long-term collaborations

• Ensure all corporate enquiries receive timely acknowledgement and communication, putting donors on the right supporter journey

• Researching and completing due diligence on prospects and partners

• Support on writing, reviewing, developing and presenting proposals and pitches

• Research sector trends and opportunities to identify new business prospects

• Design and execute creative approaches to prospects in line with CoppaFeel’s brand

• Support on account management some of our smaller newly acquired partnerships throughout the year, and particularly during Breast Cancer Awareness Month

• Source raffle prizes and gift-in-kind for partnership events

• Attend partnership events and wider fundraising events representing CoppaFeel! and sometimes working out of office hours (TOIL given)

• Support with copy-writing and content creation for internal and external communications channels including website content, social media posts, e-newsletters, blog posts and content for partner channels

• Support the day-to-day administration of the partnerships team across both new business and account management workstreams

• Coordinate fulfillment of fundraising materials requested by partners and supporters

• Work with the Finance team to keep accurate up-to-date income records for partnerships

• Keep CRM systems and partnership records up-to-date and accurate

• Keep diary and shared calendar up-to-date, shared communications across the organisation including desk booking systems, People HR, Weekly Round Up and contribute to team meetings

As SSAFA’s Audience & Marketing Insights Manager, you will provide central oversight and leadership in fundraising/marketing/communications (FMC) data, acting as the main interface to the Central Data Team (CDT), turning data into tools, frameworks, and insights that improve revenue and engagement performance.

Purpose of the role

This role will build and grow a sustainable Individual Giving programme from a small base, developing the strategy and activity needed to significantly increase public fundraising income. The role will strengthen supporter journeys, improve retention, and establish regular giving as a core income stream. It will also lead the development of in‑memory giving and deliver two key annual campaigns, helping to create a more reliable and resilient income base. This is a hands‑on role for a proactive self‑starter who can bring focus, structure and momentum to an under‑developed but high‑potential area of fundraising. 

Key responsibilites 

• Lead and grow our regular giving programme, developing a clear plan to increase supporter numbers, strengthen retention and build long‑term value. Ensure monthly giving becomes a visible and natural part of our campaigns, events and wider communications, helping to create a reliable foundation of recurring income. 

• Plan and deliver 2–3 integrated appeals each year, working closely with Marketing to shape warm, compelling messaging. Set achievable income targets, monitor performance and embed a test‑and‑learn approach so each appeal improves on the last. 

• Strengthen and expand our in‑memory giving, ensuring supporters feel supported and valued at what can be a deeply personal time. Introduce light‑touch legacy awareness in a sensitive, values‑led way to begin building longer‑term support. 

• Create clear, engaging supporter journeys that move people from a first gift to ongoing involvement. Use insight and data to understand behaviour, re‑engage lapsed donors where appropriate and identify opportunities to develop mid‑value giving. 

• Maintain oversight of individual giving performance, tracking income against target and identifying trends, risks and opportunities early. Contribute to forecasting and planning, bringing structure and confidence to this growing income stream. 

• Work closely with Relationship Fundraisers and the Partnerships Manager to ensure activity is joined up, supporting community donors to move into wider giving journeys and making the most of opportunities such as payroll giving. Play an active role in monthly income discussions and in shaping our wider growth plans. 

• Take a hands‑on approach to delivery, from drafting copy and shaping creative to managing data selections and supporter communications. As this is a developing income stream, you’ll be comfortable building processes, testing new ideas and driving activity forward with initiative and independence. 

• Work with our Engagement team to strengthen digital fundraising, ensuring donation pages, email journeys and social content support donor recruitment and retention.

We have a new opportunity for a Technology Deliver Manager to join our fantastic Technology team.

Based in our Technology team, the Technology Delivery Manager will play a critical role in the successful delivery of technology projects and workstreams, responsible for leading and delivering a broad range of technology initiatives from complex projects to smaller enhancements.

Reporting to our Head of Technology Demand and Delivery, key responsibilities will include:

- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of technology change aligned with the Solution Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Utilise a blend of agile and traditional methodologies to improve the quality, speed and customer satisfaction of technology change whilst ensuring appropriate governance structure and controls are in place
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including business sponsors, project team members, technical teams and vendors
- Possess a strong understanding of technology concepts and trends relevant to RBL and the Not-for-Profit sector

The Mental Health Foundation is recruiting for 2x Events & Community Officers to support the fundraising team based at our London office. One position is permanent and one is fixed term maternity cover for 12 months.

This exciting role will support the delivery of the agreed Events & Community Fundraising strategy, building relationships with supporters across a range of events and activities, and supporting them with their fundraising goals.

What does the role involve?

• Take full responsibility for all aspects of a portfolio of individual events.
• Provide the best service possible to event and community fundraisers via fundraising and training advice in writing, by phone, e-mail, text, website forums, pre- and post-event receptions. This includes creating, updating and managing the full stewardship journeys for bigger fundraising events.
• Taking the lead responsibility for the planning and implementation of virtual fundraising challenges as and when required.

What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?

• Demonstrable communication skills both written and verbal (face to face, incoming and outgoing, phone calls, basic copy for on- and offline activities)
• Demonstrable understanding of using online platforms for fundraising and/or marketing
• Proven experience working within fundraising and/or marketing

About the Role

The post holder will provide support to people in relation to their medication, treatment and care, ensuring that they understand and can access their rights, within the context of Independent Advocacy as set out in the Advocacy Charter and Code of Practice.

IMHAs are expected to provide a duty advocacy role as part of a rota which includes occasional Saturday working. (There is no additional payment for this, although time off in lieu is given)

To provide an Independent Mental Health Advocacy Service to Welsh Qualifying Patients in hospitals and registered settings as required by the Mental Health Act 1983 (2007 Amendment) and the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010

About You

You will have significant experience working with vulnerable adults and/or children, either within health or social care setting, or indirectly, for example as a carer. You will understand and have experience of working effectively in an intra-agency context with Health and Social Care Professionals.

Previous direct experience in the role would be preferred but training will be provided.

You must be able to drive and have access to a car during the working week.

The starting salary for this role is £24,725 based on a 37 hour week.

We are looking for an additional team member to join our existing Universal Credit Support - Help to Claim team. The team provides an effective and efficient support service for first time Universal Credit claimants including those subject to managed migration. The service includes the provision of advice, information and digital support via telephone and digital channels, aimed at helping claimants through to the first payment of Universal Credit.

The Hainault Forest Visitor Centre Assistant is an integral part of the team delivering a welcoming and memorable experience for visitors to Hainault Forest. Working in the Woodland Trust’s visitor centre, the role will assist with retail operations, provide excellent customer service, support various visitor engagement activities, and promote ways that visitors can support our cause - including Woodland Trust membership. This role contributes to enhancing the visitor experience while supporting the Woodland Trust’s mission. Our work at Hainault Forest is delivered in partnership with London Borough of Redbridge and Vision RCL.

The Role:

• Provide a warm, welcoming experience for visitors by sharing information about the forest, facilities, activities, and key site features, and responding to general enquiries.
• Promote the Trust’s membership offer and actively encourage sign-ups as part of the visitor experience.
• Support the delivery of events such as local walks workshops, often with children on an occasional basis.
• Work as part of the Visitor Centre team to manage building operations, including opening and closing procedures, upkeep of shared spaces, and handling financial transactions and cashing up.
• Deliver high-quality retail service, including operating the till efficiently, maintaining the retail area to a high standard, restocking and rotating stock, and ensuring strong visual merchandising.
• Contribute to retail performance by supporting stock selection and stock level decisions, monitoring sales, and helping to develop the retail offer to maximise income generation at the forest.

The Candidate:

• Experience working in a retail and/or customer-facing environment, with knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems, visual merchandising and stock management processes.
• Ability to manage your own time effectively within agreed working hours, balancing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Comfortable working independently using your own initiative, while also being a reliable and collaborative team member.
• Strong communication skills, able to engage confidently and appropriately with a range of audiences including children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

Customer and Communication Support

• Monitor the finance mailbox daily, ensuring all emails are reviewed and responded to in a timely, professional, and accurate manner. Provide first-line support for internal and external customer queries, escalating complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate team member or manager.
• Handle incoming calls to the finance team, offering courteous and knowledgeable assistance. Accurately log call details and follow up on outstanding queries to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.

Sales and Purchase Processing

• Process sales invoices accurately and efficiently in accordance with MAW’s financial procedures, ensuring correct coding, VAT treatment, and timely dispatch to customers.
• Set up new customers and suppliers on the finance system, verifying all required documentation and approvals are in place. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to support compliance and audit readiness.
• Process purchase ledger invoices (approx. 360 per month), ensuring they are matched to purchase orders, coded correctly, and approved in line with internal controls. Resolve discrepancies promptly to avoid payment delays.
• Create payment runs and upload onto the bank for approval, ensuring approvals are obtained in a timely manner

Reconciliations and Debt Management

• Perform supplier statement reconciliations regularly, identifying and resolving aged or unmatched items. Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure accounts are accurate and up to date.
• Monitor outstanding sales invoices, escalating overdue items to the relevant ‘requestor’ or budget holder. Support the credit control process by providing timely updates and assisting with follow-up actions.
• Conduct income reconciliations on a regular basis, ensuring all income is accurately recorded and discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts as assigned, maintaining clear audit trails and supporting documentation for all entries.

Expense and Credit Card Management

• Process monthly credit card statements, ensuring all transactions are supported by receipts, correctly coded, and approved in line with company policy.
• Review and process employee expense claims, checking for accuracy, policy compliance, and appropriate authorisation before submission for payment.

Inventory and Stock Control

• Conduct stock takes at agreed intervals, working with relevant departments to ensure accurate counts and investigate variances. Support the maintenance of accurate stock records in the finance system.

Financial Recording and Reporting

• Post and process journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments to ensure the general ledger reflects accurate and complete financial information. Maintain supporting documentation for all entries.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify process improvements and opportunities for automation, making recommendations to line manager and supporting implementation

General and Ad-Hoc Support

• Support with ad-hoc finance tasks as required, including data entry, reporting, and assisting with audits or internal reviews.
• Provide cover for team members during periods of absence, ensuring continuity of service and workload management. Take on additional duties as appropriate to the level of the role and contribute to team objectives.

Essential Criteria

• Proven experience in a finance or accounts role, with a solid understanding of financial processes such as invoicing, reconciliations, and ledger management.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
• GCSE Maths or equivalent, grade 4/5 (C) or above.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to respond professionally to internal and external queries.
