About the role
Hither Green Service (Spring Gardens and Hilda House) is a busy, flagship service which provides you with the opportunity to join a specialised and committed team using a trauma-informed approach, supporting 68, multiple excluded, highly vulnerable adults with complex needs in Lewisham.
We are looking for someone to join our team as a Support Worker (known internally as a Project Worker). In this vital role you will:
- Work together with clients to identify their personal aims and ambitions and support them towards achieving them.
- Respond to incident and crises as a team in a way that maximises safety and wellbeing.
- Provide practical and personal support to clients in an approachable, caring and person centred way.
- Work as part of a dedicated team in an accommodation setting to provide a high quality, positive and safe service to clients.
- Keep up to date administrative records relating to client work, housing management and health and safety.
- Work on the weekly shift rota that includes early and late shifts as well as some weekends and bank holidays.
About you
To succeed in these highly rewarding role you will have;
- An understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerably housed people – you may have had personal experience of homelessness yourself.
- Experience of helping vulnerable people to identify personal goals and supporting them through a process of change.
- A sound understanding of the support needs of people with low incomes, including rent payments/arrears and professional boundary issues.
- Good interpersonal and listening skills, in order to be able to establish an effective working relationship with clients and an eagerness to learn and work with clients in a holistic and person-centred approach.
- The ability to support colleagues in diffusing difficult or dangerous situations and to summon outside assistance when necessary.
- The skills to challenge disruptive or unacceptable behaviour in a sympathetic and assertive way, balancing the needs of the individual with responsibilities for the safety of the service.

We are currently looking for people to join our teams as Night Reconnection Workers in our Staging Post services. In these roles you will:

Work as part of a busy team environment working closely with those affected by rough sleeping.

Provide a safe and supportive environment at night to clients; and support a team of Assessment and Reconnection Workers, with key tasks; such as implementing reconnection or assessment plans and supporting clients into appropriate accommodation.

Work on a 7 day weekly night rota pattern with an average of 3 waking night shifts in a row (for example 8pm–8.30am or 9pm–8am)

Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. Full time: 35 hours per week - these roles will be based onsite/in the community 4 days per week and work from home 1 day.
You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental or physical health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the IPS approach (for which training will be given); providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment. You will work closely with clinical teams, the DWP and local agencies, providing a coordinated approach that always remains client led. You will also be working to targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service.

We’re seeking a passionate and committed individual (female) to join our team as a Resettlement Support Worker. In this role, you will play a vital role in a team that has been supporting sanctuary seekers in Lambeth since 2016.
Your mission: to support individuals and families to feel safe in their homes and empower them to build new and fulfilling lives in the UK.

About the role
As a Resettlement Support Worker, you will work with a caseload of families and individuals who have either arrived in the UK under specific resettlement schemes or who have recently been granted their refugee status. In your role you will work with clients on their support plans, guiding them to identify their goals as they begin a new chapter in Lambeth. About the role
We are looking for a multiple Support Workers (known internally as Project Workers) to join our Hammersmith & Fulham Pathway.
We have a vacancy in our semi independent team, supporting 22 clients across two projects based in H&F. Shepherds House and Talgarth road focus on providing recovery based support to those in the last stages of recovery before moving into more independent accommodation.
We are also looking for a Support Worker to join our team at The Coninghams, a 31-bed complex needs service, that supports both men and women in Hammersmith.
In the role of Project Worker, you will be supporting our clients on their road to recovery; aiding clients to gain necessary skills to move on from our services and into suitable accommodation. Hilldrop Road is a registered care home providing long term accommodation, support and care to up to 29 men with a history of alcohol misuse, homelessness and mental health conditions, with related physical health needs. The service has staff working on a rota basis including evenings and weekends as well as bank holidays and sleep-in shifts.
As a Project Worker, you will

HOUSING SUPPORT WORKER - Community Accommodation Service - Tier 2
Salary - £22,740 per annum (Base Salary £21,740 +£1000 Unsociable Hours allowance)
Job Type - Permanent/Full-Time
Hours - 40 hours (including 5 hours paid lunch breaks)
Location - Cardiff (travel throughout Wales when needed)
The provision of the contract is between 08:00 and 22:00. As such, there will be morning and evening shifts available with a rolling rota for Saturday on call shifts. However, there is flexibility around this which can be discussed at interview.

Nacro have launched the Community Support Service - Tier 2 (CAS-2) which is a national service commissioned by Ministry of Justice to provide accommodation and support as an alternative to custody.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Plan and deliver effective support and safety plans with the service user referring to specialist agencies as required.
- Ensure that properties are always adequately equipped, maintained, furnished, and cleaned.
- Support residents to understand responsibilities that will help them keep their CAS-2 and future accommodation.
- Empower and motivate service users to identify and achieve desired outcomes.
- Develop a move-on plan with service users at the earliest opportunity, identifying realistic options for their future home.

Collaboration is key in our team. You'll work together with specialist Navigators, Outreach workers, substance use outreach services, and mental health outreach teams. Plus, you'll be pivotal in forging strong relationships with a range of housing providers in the borough.
