Charity Nest specialises in helping local charities work with big brands, ensuring the charities generate true social impact and the brands deliver on their CSR objectives.
As a Fundraiser, you will be based onsite at various venues and build relationships with the public to raise vital funds through bucket collections to support your assigned charity. You will be supported with full training and equipment for the role and be raising funds through cash and card donations whilst also raising awareness for your assigned charity. With venues across the North West, there are various locations where this role can be based including, Manchester, Preston, Liverpool, Leeds and others.
To be successful as a Fundraiser, you will have strong relationship building skills and be motivated to raise funds for meaningful causes. Ideally this person will have either some sales experience or fundraising experience. This could be from personal fundraisers such as gaining sponsorship for a challenge event, bake sales, or any other type of group or self-led fundraiser. This role will need to be available to work some Saturdays and there is daily travel of 30-90 minutes.
This role is a full-time permanent position that will be based in the North West region, dependent on your location. There is a base pay rate of £70 per day, as well as 35% commission on any funds you have raised each day.

RPMT is seeking a Fundraiser with experience in trusts and foundations to oversee the fundraising campaign for the project. The chosen individual will take on responsibilities such as identifying and researching prospects, implementing new fundraising streams, and delivering an activity program encompassing members and patrons' schemes, major gifts, public appeals, and fundraising events. The successful applicant will work across all RPMT sites.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Proven and demonstrable experience in raising funds from trusts and foundations.
- Experience of writing fundraising copy, both for encouraging donations and building relationships with supporters.
- Ability to identify and respond to fundraising opportunities and articulate a project, programme, or fundraising appeal in a compelling manner.
- Ability to present information verbally and in written format including progress reports, project updates and briefings to a range of audiences in a clear, accurate and confident manner.

The Role
As Trust Fundraiser you will play an integral part in the collaborative fundraising team and be responsible for a range of duties including:

• Identifying and building relationships with new prospects who have the capacity to support at five/six figure level.
• Developing and managing the delivery of an annual pipeline for the trusts fundraising programme, and contributing to the fundraising strategy in this area.

The Prince of Wales Hospice is passionate about providing specialist care for adults with a terminal diagnosis, and also those around them. The hospice offers a 13-bedroom ward for patients who need round the clock care as well as a Wellbeing and Outreach service – in total the Prince of Wales Hospice cares for over 300 people a year! The Role

In this newly created role, the Individual Giving Fundraiser will be primarily responsible for developing and managing individual giving income, in conjunction with other fundraising disciplines.

The new Individual Giving Fundraiser will join a small, but successful fundraising team, producing compelling fundraising communications, stewarding individual donors, including regular donors and gifts in memory, ensuring that donors receive excellent care. Alongside this you will manage the relationship of their incumbent fundraising agency week by week.
You will have:
- Prior experience of working in a fundraising setting, an understanding of good stewardship practices, donor recruitment and retention, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets from unrestricted donations.
- Effective relationship management and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to maximise engagement with donors and supporters. A thorough understanding of individual giving, the donor journey, and individual giving programmes, with experience of working with agencies would be an advantage.
- Marketing or direct marketing experience (e.g. telemarketing) and be able to create and tailor engaging and emotive copy for a range of different channels.
- Planned and delivered activity, managed projects, evaluating results including accurate record keeping using a CRM system.
- A positive and creative approach to work, thriving in a dynamic environment, with a variety of teams, meeting multiple deadlines and the ability to multitask.

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Major Gifts Fundraiser to join our team. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for securing six-figure major gifts from individuals in a charity environment to meet ambitious targets. Your primary role will be to manage and develop relationships with wealthy and/or influential individuals and senior volunteers, inspiring and motivating them to meet objectives as per their solicitation plans. You should be persuasive and credible with all audiences, including those at the highest level, both internally and externally. As Senior Fundraiser, you will be responsible for securing significant grants from a broad range of trusts, foundations and grant-making bodies. You will develop and implement the fundraising strategy to maximise trust and grant giving income and create a sustainable and diverse fundraising portfolio, with funding streams including major donors, trusts, foundations and other grant making bodies. You will also maintain and develops existing relationships, whilst proactively identifying and approaching new funding partners in the UK, US and internationally.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Experience and successful track record of securing income from trusts, foundations and/or major donors.
- Experience of developing a fundraising strategy and income targets.
- Excellent writing skills with attention to detail and experience in preparing structured, engaging and successful grant applications.

Newlife is seeking an experienced fundraiser to take ownership of both community and events income streams as they continue to expand their impact and help even more disabled and terminally ill children.
Who we are
Newlife is the UK’s largest charitable provider of specialist equipment for disabled children. They were founded 30 years ago to provide disabled and terminally ill children the best possible start through life by providing the essential but expensive medical equipment they need to reach their full potential.
There are 1.7 million disabled and terminally ill children in the UK, many of whom miss out on life’s opportunities because they don’t have access to the specialist equipment they need. Newlife provides thousands of these children with this life-saving and life-changing equipment, enabling them to lead happy and fulfilling lives.
Newlife also campaigns on behalf of disabled and terminally ill children to ensure their voices are heard and their outlooks are improved. They work with parents and health professionals to ensure they receive all the support they need to achieve the best outcomes for the children they care for.
About the role
You’ll be taking ownership of community and events fundraising at Newlife. It will be up to you to dictate how these programmes look. Working closely with the Head of Community and Corporate Partnerships, you will devise a three-year strategy, targeting key areas of growth in community fundraising, challenge events and special events.
This role will be what you make of it. Newlife is seeking someone who can bring fresh ideas and approaches. You will be empowered to try new things and learn from the process as you define exactly how community and events fundraising looks at Newlife. You’ll play a key role in devising ambitious but realistic targets and will be fully supported across the organisation to achieve them, an integrated and holistic approach to fundraising is key for Newlife. There is a huge capacity for growth within the charity, both in the local area and across the country, so a significant uplift in fundraised income is highly achievable.
You’ll be leading a team of passionate community fundraisers with great links in their local area as well as the guile and motivation to raise and events fundraisers who have successfully run several challenge events across the country. You will work with the team to come up with new and innovative ways of fundraising that raise the profile of Newlife to create and seize opportunities.
Who we are looking for
We are seeking a fundraiser with a large charity community and events or marketing experience as well as the tenacity and drive to identify and seize opportunities, developing and testing them to maximise income.
You will be ambitious, proactive and not afraid to fail. A natural relationship builder, you will communicate with various stakeholders with ease, bringing a research-led and collaborative approach to your role.
Suitable candidates will be bursting with ideas and creativity, possessing a strategic outlook and a willingness to challenge established processes to achieve the best results.

Harris Hill are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic organisation that supports voluntary and community organisations in their search for a Senior Bid Writer.
As Senior Bid Writer you will be working with the bid writing team to write bids for and assist with fundraising for partner organisations. You will lead on bid writing and funding applications to a range of funding bodies and trusts and produce high quality funding applications and funding bids. You will also be working with partner organisations to develop capital or revenue projects.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Knowledge of fundraising within a charity, CIC or non-for-profit organisation
- Experience of developing both capital and revenue projects for non-for-profit organisations. Ideally will have written successful bids to Heritage Lottery, Arts Council and Children In Need.
- Ability to produce high quality, professionally written funding applications
