About the role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development & Fundraising Manager to play a central role in strengthening and growing our income.

This is an opportunity to lead the development of a strategic and sustainable approach to fundraising, while continuing to deliver hands-on income across a diverse portfolio.

You will work closely with the CEO and colleagues across the organisation to identify new opportunities, develop partnerships, and build on existing income streams.

The role would suit someone who enjoys working in a small organisation where you can shape direction, take ownership, and see the direct impact of your work.

What you’ll be doing

· Lead the development and delivery of a multi-year fundraising and income strategy

· Grow and diversify income across corporate partnerships, community fundraising, events, individual giving and digital activity

· Build and manage strong relationships with funders, partners and supporters

The Role

The Trusts & Grants Officer is responsible for delivering income from trusts, foundations and statutory funders through proactive prospect research, high quality applications, relationship management and timely reporting, contributing directly to FareShare Midlands’ income targets and growth plans.

Trusts & Grants Delivery

• Manage a portfolio of trust, foundation and grant funders
• Writing applications and reports
• Budget management for restricted funds
• Working with FSM and FSUK colleagues on bids
• Build strong relationships with programme officers, grant managers, funding panels.
• Managing restricted funding compliance
• Coordinating evaluation and evidence collection for funder reports
• Monitoring funder requirements and deadlines

Pipeline Development & Prospect Research

• Identify a pipeline of new opportunities in trusts, grants, foundations and corporate to secure new income for FareShare Midlands
• Maintain a rolling 12 to 18 month pipeline
• Regular prospect research using databases (e.g. funds online, the charity commission website, idox etc)
• Prioritising opportunities by value, likelihood and strategic fit
• Assisting on project development working with colleagues to build in the needs and preferences of funders to ensure projects can attract support

Funder Stewardship & Reporting

• Professional stewardship of trusts and foundations funders
• Managing funder communications in line with grant agreements
• Working with the stewardship officer and comms team to identify and develop impact stories and relevant data.

Communication

• Writing funder-facing materials
• Ensuring clarity, evidence and compliance in all submissions
• Coordinating case studies and impact data for bids

Compliance, Monitoring & Administration

 Application tracker ownership

• Reporting calendar management
• Income forecasting for trusts & grants
• Document management for funder requirements

You will be successful in this role by:

• Consistently securing income from trusts, foundations and statutory funders in line with agreed targets
• Maintaining a strong, well-researched pipeline of trust and grant opportunities
• Submitting high-quality funding applications and reports to deadline
• Achieving a healthy success rate across applications through strong prospecting and proposal quality
• Ensuring full compliance with restricted funding requirements

The Role:

This is a pivotal moment for Dialogue Earth. As news organisations continue to retreat from climate coverage and the funding landscape for independent journalism becomes more challenging, we are looking for a Director of Development who can help us strengthen existing funder relationships, build new partnerships and shape our funding strategy for the years ahead.

About the role:

This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up and see the direct impact of your work on people experiencing homelessness across London. As our first Philanthropy and Major Gifts Officer, you will work closely with the Assistant Director of Fundraising to bring our new strategy to life, shaping how we engage major donors and grow a powerful community of supporters who are motivated to stand alongside Single Homeless Project (SHP) and our clients. Every relationship you build and every gift you secure will help create real opportunities for our clients to move away from homelessness and towards safety, stability and independence.

You will take the lead in developing and managing meaningful relationships with major donors, creating thoughtful and engaging journeys that bring them closer to our work and the difference it makes day to day. Alongside nurturing existing supporters, you will identify and secure new funding opportunities, building a strong and sustainable pipeline of donors and driving forward this new area of income generation within the team. Working collaboratively across SHP, you will connect philanthropists with our services in a way that feels personal, impactful and rooted in the realities of our work, while contributing to the wider fundraising targets that enable us to keep delivering life changing support.

Hybrid working for us means a mix of in office working in Kings Cross and home working. Currently two days in the office (usually Wednesday and Friday) with the rest from home.

Role Description

The Head of Income and Engagement is responsible for diversifying and growing Dog Aid Scotland’s fundraising income streams as well as overseeing the charities strategic communications and marketing activity. Justice & Care is a pioneering anti-slavery organisation working globally to disrupt and dismantle criminal networks while walking alongside survivors on their journey to freedom and recovery. About the Role

This role is a rare and exciting launchpad for an ambitious professional looking to step into major gift fundraising. You do not need a legal background to succeed here - we are looking for someone with the drive, energy, and interpersonal warmth to connect with people, and we are fully committed to providing the coaching and mentoring you need to master the art of fundraising.

Working closely with the Faculty of Law, you will champion philanthropic efforts to raise vital income, by securing donations in the £50,000–£80,000 range from your own developing pool of individual alumni, trust representatives, law firms and a group of loyal barristers' chambers.

You will also gain hands-on experience with face-to-face major gift fundraising by contributing to an ambitious fundraising appeal to redevelop the Faculty of Law’s home, the St Cross Building; alongside securing support for graduate scholarships, academic posts and our growing access and diversity programmes.

About You

We are looking for individuals who can bring the following core attributes:

• Experience in a fundraising, marketing, or a relationship-management role; alongside the confidence to professionally represent the University and make ‘the ask’.
• Excellent verbal and written skills with the creativity to translate legal or academic projects into inspiring donor materials.
• Ability to listen actively, build trust, and manage relationships with a diverse range of academic and external stakeholders.
• Genuine enthusiasm for fundraising and a passion for social or environmental justice or related areas.
• You are organised, capable of managing a diverse workload calmly under pressure, and comfortable using standard Microsoft Office tools and database systems.

Chief Executive Officer (Part-time, 3 days/week)

Veterans With Dogs (VWD) is seeking an experienced, values-driven and credible Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our charity into its next chapter. This rare and exciting opportunity offers the chance to guide a small, high-impact team at a pivotal stage in the charity’s growth.

Location: Flexible / UK-based, with regular travel to Exeter, training sites, and key meetings as required. We are flexible in how this is structured, and relocation is not required.
Salary: £45,000–£55,000 pro-rata (equivalent to £27,000 - £33,000 for 3 days/week) + 3% pension contribution

Veterans With Dogs is a UK charity that transforms the lives of Armed Forces veterans living with mental health challenges. Through the provision of highly trained assistance dogs and trauma-informed support, we help restore purpose, independence, and dignity to those who have served.

Founded in 2012, our work addresses a vital gap for veterans living with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and complex trauma. The Role

The CEO will provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and cultural leadership for Veterans With Dogs. Working closely with the Board of Trustees, the CEO will oversee the delivery of the charity’s mission, ensure operational excellence, develop our long-term strategy, and foster a values-led and high-performing team.

This is a hands-on, multi-dimensional leadership role, ideal for a calm, pragmatic, and inspiring individual with experience of organisational stabilisation, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable growth. You will build strong relationships with the team and stakeholders, maintaining a visible and engaged leadership presence both in person and remotely.

This is a genuinely part-time role with a focused and manageable scope, supported by an engaged Board of Trustees and a committed team. The role is designed to be sustainable within the allocated hours.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead the development and delivery of an interim plan and longer-term organisational strategy
• Translate strategic goals into clear operational priorities and plans

Person Specification

Essential

• Senior leadership experience within a charity, social enterprise, or values-led organisation
• Strong knowledge of charity governance, regulation, and trustee relationships
• Experience leading teams through organisational change or stabilisation
• Financial literacy with experience of budgeting, reporting, and planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across diverse stakeholders

JUSTICE is looking to recruit a Philanthropy Manager to join our friendly, outcome-focused, values-led team. This is a permanent role and offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate and creative fundraiser who is committed to building meaningful relationships and growing philanthropy income.

We are looking for an individual who is motivated by our purpose (to improve the UK justice system so that it is fair and within everyone’s reach). The successful post holder will be an engaging and proactive fundraiser with experience of securing donations from high-net-worth individuals and mid-level donors. You will enjoy working autonomously, be comfortable taking initiative and bring a thoughtful strategic approach to developing and stewarding donor relationships.

Working closely with the Director of Development, Chief Executive and Senior Management Team, the Philanthropy Manager will play a central role in strengthening and expanding our major donor and mid-level giving programme. You will lead on cultivating, soliciting and stewarding a portfolio of prospects and donors, developing tailored engagement plans and ensuring our fundraising activity is insight-driven and aligned with organisational priorities.

Our team recruits and builds meaningful relationships with supporters who choose to leave a gift in their Will to Mind or donate in memory of a loved one. We create thoughtful, insight-led campaigns and stewardship that grow long-term support, deliver excellent supporter experiences and help secure sustainable income for Mind. The Legacy & In Memory team is part of a wider Mass Engagement team. In this financial year, Mass Engagement is responsible for raising more than £23 million so that Mind can fight for timely access to great quality mental health care for all.
