About the role:
As the post-holder, you will be working in our Camden Women's Recovery Service hostel providing specialist interventions for a designated caseload and to the wider client group, via our in-house recovery programme.
Your role will be working intensively with the residents on their supports needs. The role of Complex Needs Project Worker is a specialist role, designed to work with people who may be more difficult to reach and establish working relationships with. As such, you will role model good practice for working with those who have experienced multiple disadvantage by adopting a trauma informed approach.
Within this setting, you will also work to establish a culture of co-production where residents are at the forefront of the work that is carried out, helping to promote autonomy and build individual confidence and interpersonal skills.
The rota for the post is earlies (8 am - 4 pm) and lates (2.30pm - 10.30pm).
About you:
- Previous experience of working with female rough sleepers or people with complex mental health, physical health or substance use support needs.
- An understanding of working with people using person-centred approaches and working collaboratively within a harm minimisation and recovery framework.
- A flexible, innovative and creative approach to working with a sometimes hard to engage and challenging client group, is also required.

To give support and guidance to project workers in relation to best practice standards for supporting homeless people with multiple disadvantages and complex needs.
The Specialist Multiple Disadvantage Worker will have skills in effectively liaising and building good relationships, with external and internal stakeholders to keep a satisfactory level of appropriate referrals.
About you:

As Project Worker, you will take responsibility for the day to day running of projects belonging to Cambridge Cyrenians. You will provide cover and one to one support for residents of Cambridge Cyrenians’ existing move on and long stay projects.
Role duties include:
- Ensure that individuals accepting accommodation understand their rights and responsibilities as residents of the project.
- Ensure that accommodation charges are collected and arrears followed up, that housing benefit claims are processed and closely monitored, and that proper records are kept.
- Encourage participation of the residents in the services provided and to ensure they share the responsibility for the day to day running of the house.
- Support residents in identifying solutions to their social and housing problems to enable residents to live as independently as possible.
- Ensure residents are aware of all entitlements to welfare and housing benefits, that they are aware of their housing options and assist in making applications as necessary.
- To develop and maintain links with appropriate statutory and voluntary agencies on behalf of residents.

Barbara Ansell National Network for Adolescent Rheumatology (BANNAR) started in 2013 and has been nested within Versus Arthritis since 2020. BANNAR are a group of professionals from medical, nursing, allied health and third sector backgrounds working in adolescent and young adult (AYA) rheumatology. The network aims to promote best practice and develop research in this area by working with professionals and supporting the National Youth Advisory Panel, Your Rheum.
At Versus Arthritis our mission is to ensure everyone with arthritis has access to the treatments and support they need to live the life they choose with a real hope of a cure in the future. In our new strategy, the impact of arthritis across the life course is identified as a cross cutting theme and this role will help deliver our mission for adolescents and young people.
You will be passionate about improving outcomes for young people with long term conditions, be skilled at working with a range of stakeholders and have strong administration skills. You will work closely with the BANNAR leadership team and BANNAR members but the role will sit in the Health Development team at Versus Arthritis. About the role
The BANNAR Project Support Officer will support the BANNAR Leadership team and BANNAR members to maintain a valuable professional network. You will do this by producing a programme of communications and events tailored to the network’s needs and promoting the network to new members via effective networking. You will play a key role in maximising the impact of BANNAR’s work in adolescent and young adult rheumatology by supporting Your Rheum activities, monitoring and reporting the achievements of the network, and supporting joint working with teams across Versus Arthritis and beyond. We are now looking to recruit a permanent full-time Young Person’s Substance Misuse Worker to join our One80 team.
The One80 team provides early intervention and highly structured treatment for drug and/or alcohol misuse to young people. You will be a big part of a small team where everyone takes a flexible and collaborative approach to work and is committed to improving outcomes for young people up to the age of 21 years, to promote recovery from substance misuse and to secure positive health and wellbeing outcomes.
We are looking for someone who has a relevant professional qualification with a minimum of 1 years’ experience of working with young people with alcohol/drug problems and/or working with young people/children with complex needs. You will be highly organised with excellent communication skills and able to manage your time effectively, working as part of the team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained, whilst applying your knowledge of the range of drug/alcohol related problems and their impact on young people, their families and the community. You will have experience of and the ability to liaise and build links with professionals from a variety of disciplines as well as knowledge of legislation, guidelines and procedures relating to children and young people.
You will be passionate about changing lives and what we do, with a positive and engaging approach to our young people, as situations can sometimes be difficult and challenging so you will need to be non-judgemental, with a sensitive attitude and a good understanding of how to meet complex needs related to substance misuse.
The successful candidate will be able to work Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 09:30 to 17:30, Tuesdays 09:30 to 19:00 and Thursdays 09:30 to 16:00. There is also an element of flexibility around working hours required. It is essential that you have a driving licence with access to a vehicle to transport young people to appointments. What is the reablement service?

The Project Manager will responsible for the effective management of our city reablement service. The post holder will line manage the support workers and referral coordinator. About You

You will work Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, however there may be expectation to work some evenings up to 8pm and occasional weekends and bank holidays.

Our mission is to help children and young people have a fair chance to be who they want to be. We do this by providing a safe home, increasing life skills and self-confidence, and improving emotional wellbeing and mental health
provides supported accommodation for young people aged 16 - 25 at risk of homelessness, staffed 24 hours a day providing a safe and encouraging environment for residents. In addition, our Youth Advice Centre is located adjacent to the Foyer which enables us to offer a range of services to young people living in the Foyer and in the wider community.
We provide support to our residents to help them build essential life skills, identify their goals and work towards aspirations so that they can move on to enjoy fully independent futures. Our staff team comprises of Support Workers, Night staff and two Managers. Each Support Worker holds a caseload of residents and meets with them weekly to build a support plan and help them achieve their goals.
In delivering the role, you will work on a rota shift pattern, ensuring young people at the service have non-judgemental, objective, and supportive staff during the day. You will work with the Managers and the wider housing team to provide effective day to day management of our accommodation project. This includes delivering one to one sessions and group work sessions to assist residents to develop personally and socially in order that they grow in confidence and move towards independence. You will help to contribute to a great working environment, with a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations. You will also support young people to safeguard themselves against abuse and risk.
Based on site, this role is on a seven-day rolling rota, including weekends and bank holidays. There is a small amount of lone working, but you will get to know the team and project, along with extensive training prior to starting on a rota.
