Pharmacist Support – the pharmacy profession’s independent charity – is looking to recruit an experienced Marketing and Communications Officer with a passion for creating positive impact.
You will help the charity drive forward our new approach to marketing and communications by contributing to the development and implementation of an innovative and effective strategy that builds on existing relationships and engages with new audiences. You will work with the Marketing & Communications Manager, Senior Fundraising Officer and services team to support the development and implementation of marketing campaigns that maximise the impact and profile of our work and build awareness, our supporter base and raise income.
You will oversee and analyse online tools to measure and evaluate the charity’s marketing and communications activities and ensure high-quality, accurate data and messaging, including case studies, infographics and imagery.
As Communications and Marketing Officer you will provide support across the charity and work on a variety of projects, events and campaigns. In addition, you will also support internal communications to ensure staff and volunteer engagement.
What we’re looking for
We are seeking a creative individual with excellent written and verbal communications skills, experience across the full marketing and communications mix and with a track record in partnership working.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a similar marketing and communications role, be compassionate and fair and able to communicate effectively with a variety of people using a range of communications channels. A strong working knowledge of social media platforms, and an enthusiastic, positive and organised approach to work is essential.
As a national charity Pharmacist Support provides free and confidential services to pharmacists and their families, former pharmacists and pharmacy students across GB. Support includes an information and enquiry service, stress helpline, wellbeing service, financial assistance, specialist advice in the areas of debt, benefits and employment law and addiction support. As a charity we listen, without judgement and encourage and empower people to create positive change. Each year we provide thousands of acts of support – we make good things happen.
