PHASE Worldwide are looking to hire a part-time Communications and Digital (C&D) Officer to join our team in Bristol on a fixed term contract. The C&D Officer will develop and manage PHASE Worldwide’s communications and digital presence, ensuring we are making the most of communications and digital channels, to reach more people, particularly through largescale appeals and campaigns. We are looking for someone who is an excellent writer, able to think creatively and can produce varied and engaging content.
1.1 Develop and implement an effective communications strategy for future appeals and campaigns
1.2 Write, edit, and distribute compelling content, including publications, articles, press releases, website content, annual reports, and other marketing material that communicates PHASE Worldwide’s work
1.3 Develop and manage PHASE Worldwide’s online presence and outputs including website, social media channels and other digital platforms
1.4 Establish and maintain effective relationships with journalists, maintain a media database, arrange interviews, and respond to media enquiries
1.5 Create, commission and curate impactful digital assets including photos, videos, infographics, social media posts, blogs, ads, and newsletters
1.6 Collaborate and work with communications and programme staff from PHASE Worldwide’s partner PHASE Nepal
1.7 Support other communications activities as required including drafting copy for offline materials
1.8 Develop plans for communication activities across paid, owned and earned digital channels
1.9 Promote the vision, aims and objectives of PHASE Worldwide and ensure that all contact with external people and organisations fully reflect the professional approach and values of PHASE Worldwide
2.0 Understand and comply with all relevant legislation and adhere to organisational and operational policies, procedures, and administrative procedures, with particular reference to PHASE Worldwide’s code of conduct and safeguarding policy.
