Job description

The Philharmonia is a world-class symphony orchestra for the 21st century. Led by its Principal Conductor & Artistic Advisor Esa-Pekka Salonen, the Philharmonia creates thrilling performances in the concert hall and reaches new listeners and participants through audience development projects, digital technology, and a learning and participation programme. With the recent announcement of Santtu-Matias Rouvali as the Orchestra’s next Principal Conductor, to succeed Esa-Pekka Salonen with effect from the 2021-22 Season, the Orchestra enters a new and exciting phase in its 75-year history.

The Partnerships and Events Coordinator is an administrative position which serves actively to support and participate in the Philharmonia’s corporate fundraising function. The role will lead on all administrative and logistical tasks related to the stewardship and development of the Orchestra’s corporate partnerships portfolio and its busy events calendar. The post-holder will play a key role assisting the Corporate Partnerships Manager to cultivate meaningful relationships with the Orchestra’s existing corporate stakeholders and prospective partners.
