We are recruiting a Part Time (26.5 hours per week) Community Team Manager to join our new Essex Alcohol Recovery Community service. You will support to deliver a service that works with individuals who require support with Alcohol issues. As the Community Team Manager you will cover the South and West of the County and will work very closely with your counterpart Team Manager (covering the other half of the County) and the Service manager. You will supervise staff in order to maintain a high standard for our service users, ensuring that any concerns relating to safeguarding and risk are appropriately managed as well as ensuring that adequate data is collected and reported on. You will represent the service across the County and will build excellent working relationships with our many partners.

Do you have?

  • Experience of managing staff?

  • An understanding of the complex issues presented by individuals within alcohol services.

  • The ability to build relationships with other professionals (health providers, the police, youth services, mental health & substance misuse organisations) and to maintain the excellent reputation of Phoenix Futures.

  • The ability to be innovative and flexible in order to meet the needs of the service.

  • Extensive experience of the substance misuse sector or related field.
