Job description

26 hours per week

Salary £32,800 (£23,046 pro rata) per annum

The hospice works to help patients remain in their own home for as long as possible.  The Social Work team at the hospice work with patients and their carers to help address any social care needs.  The successful candidate will need to:

  • have a Social Work qualification

  • be a member of the HCPC

  • have excellent communication skills

  • have experience in managing safeguarding issues

  • have a knowledge of the legislation used in practice

  • have worked in a health care / social care setting in the past

  • working mainly at our Guildford site with occasion to work at our Farnham site
