Job description

We are seeking a Physical Activity Co-ordinator and a Clinical Exercise Specialist for 2 full time roles.

Physical Activity Co-ordinator

Salary: £26,500 – £28,000

Hours: Full time (35 hours per week) until 31 March 2023 with hope to extend.

The ideal candidates will be passionate about helping older people improve their health and wellbeing through exercise and in doing so aid them in maintaining their independence. In this role you will plan, develop, promote and deliver our general physical activity offer both online and in-person across Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham. The ability to travel across these areas is therefore essential. As there are multiple responsibilities in this role, you will need to have the ability to organise your own workload.

Project Co-ordinator: Clinical Exercise Specialist

Salary: £26,500

We are seeking a Clinical Exercise Specialist to fill a full time role at Open Age. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping older people improve their health and wellbeing through exercise and in doing so aid them in maintaining their independence. In this role you will deliver falls prevention exercise classes for older adults living in Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham and Brent. In addition to this you will support the physical activity team in the planning, developing, promoting and running of our general physical activity offer both online and in-person. The ability to travel across these areas is therefore essential. As there are multiple responsibilities in this role, you will need to have the ability to organise your own workload.

This role is initially being offered on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2023. It is hoped the role will be extended thereafter subject to funding being secured.
