At Plan International UK, we are looking for a Legacy Officer to join our Individual Giving Unit. Plan International is a global children’s charity. We work to give every child the same chance in life. The Individual Giving Unit (IGU) is responsible for generating income from individuals through high-quality direct-marketing activity and fulfilment of the sponsorship journey.
As Legacy Officer, you will be responsible for effective legacy communications and for planning and delivering impactful and successful campaigns across traditional and digital marketing channels, monitoring and reviewing campaign performance to continuously improve outcomes. You will lead on delivering our annual programme of legacy stewardship events and communications, and work closely with colleagues in other teams to ensure that legacy messaging runs through our organisation. The role also involves liaising with creative and fundraising agencies to deliver our ambitious strategy and annual plans
This role would suit you if you have experience working as a direct marketer in a fundraising team or organising events in a similar environment and are keen to move into this area of fundraising. This is a great opportunity to use your existing skills and develop new ones in a role that has great variety and where you can make a tangible contribution to the income Plan generates to fulfil its aims of creating a better world for millions of children and young people, especially girls.
