Job Description

The Opportunity

In this important role as the Technical Specialist for Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) you will be providing support for the roll-out of Plan International’s new SRHR Key investment areas and M&E frameworks.

In addition, you will identify and support the development of strategic fundraising and partnership opportunities.

This role has global scope and you will be contributing to learning and sharing about Plan International’s SRHR work internally (across Plan’s Offices) as well as externally.

The Person

With proven experience having worked with sexual and reproductive health and rights in development and/or humanitarian programming and practical experience in applying these concepts in projects and programmes.

Understanding of the concept of gender equality and its relationship with sexual and reproductive health and rights, and personal commitment to gender and inclusion

Practical experience in providing technical support and advice to field staff and country offices

The ability to network effectively and build strong working relationships, collaborating and influencing at all levels will be essential.

Location: Global Hub, Woking (25 Minutes from London Waterloo)

Type of Role: 9 month fixed term contract to 30 June 2020 (possibility for extension pending budget confirmation).

We will consider full-time or part-time working arrangements
