Office Based: Stevenage

Working pattern: Full time - 37 hours, 5 days per week Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

 

Salary: £38,000.00 - £41,000.00 per annum (dependent on experience) + Benefits

We have a current vacancy for a Finance Business Partner to join our finance team working in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

 

To ensure POhWER’s financial effectiveness we are looking for a committed Business Partner to support this demanding and rewarding role. You will be responsible for providing the business partnering to internal financial and non-financial managers to improve financial awareness, as well as contributing to robust financial controls and month end processes.  This is a varied role and will involve collaborating with the wider team to achieve robust control frameworks, to manage costing models and standard costing to support pricing and commercial opportunities and evaluate costs across the charity.

 

A key requirement for this role will be having skill in interpreting and communicating financial information to a wide range of stakeholders, using judgement, logic, reasoning and integrity. You should have advanced Excel and modelling skills and strong experience of working in a finance department, comfortable with the wide range of controls, practices and accounting regulations relevant to a charity like ours.

 

You will be a confident positive team player, able to work in partnership with colleagues and professionals.  Our ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role, have strong communication skills and time management skills will be required and you will need to be computer literate.
