Job Description

One in six people in the UK will have a disability in their lifetime and Leonard Cheshire want to make sure they have the opportunity to live their lives to their full potential.

Leonard Cheshire Disability is the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of services for disabled people. Services include high-quality care and community support together with innovative projects supporting disabled people into education, employment and entrepreneurship.  Worldwide, the global alliance of Cheshire partners supports disabled people into education and employment, and works in more than 50 countries.

Working with the Regional Fundraising Development Manager you will develop and implement a regional fundraising strategy which will build on the current income targets, moving from restricted income to unrestricted income.

This is a key role at a time where the charity have ambitious aims of reaching more people in the UK with disabilities and making a positive difference to their lives.

If you have a proven track record in fundraising with experience working with corporate charity partnerships, applying to local trusts and understanding of recruiting fundraising volunteers then this could be the perfect role for you. 

This is a home based role so you will need to demonstrate an ability to manage and motivate yourself and live in the Cheltenham area with a willingness to travel to various locations across the South West so a full UK driving licence is essential.
