- Organise regular network meetings comprised of service users from across the NHS Network and Mind Networks.
- Deliver regular in-reach into inpatient services and closed inpatient groups to provide feedback on ward experiences.
- Regularly promote the mental health network, through attendance at stakeholder events, network meetings and active marketing.
- Provide training to network members, so that they can provide effective feedback and insights on services, attend key focus groups, meetings, and support with the sharing of insights.
- To work closely with the Service user participation leads to help support and implement a comprehensive participation and engagement strategy where applicable across HFEH Mind and NHS Transformation cohort.
- To work collaboratively with the Youth Services and Adult service Co-Production Leads to ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met.
- To manage competently safeguarding concerns that arise.
- Be able to work some unsocial hours as required in line with the demands of the role.
- To produce regular reports in respect of service user feedback and participation and engagement across west London Trust.
- To ensure the on-going monitoring and evaluation of HFEH Mind/west London trust co-production and participation programmes, reporting on progress against KPIs and informing the continued development of our co-production and participation across West London Trust.
- To work closely with the Business Development and Quality Manager to review and monitor funding arrangements and produce reports as appropriate, with input from service users.

Do you want to work as part of a dynamic and engaging team supporting young people in Northampton?
Due to project expansion Aquarius Young People’s Substance misuse team are recruiting for several Complex Needs Substance Misuse Practitioners across the city.
Aquarius has been providing structured and targeted interventions to young people engaging in, at risk of substance misuse or affected by parental substance misuse for many years.
The post holder will work on an outreach basis, including visiting schools & colleges, the Children and Families service, the YOT as well as other local community agencies. The role will involve supporting young people away from engaging in substance misuse or with an understanding of parental substance misuse.
You will provide young people with skills and coping strategies to manage their recovery journey, delivering 1-1 and some group work interventions, targeted outreach to engage 'hard-to-reach' young people and delivery of service talks and substance misuse presentations to enhance external professional workforce development with our partner agencies.
Working hours will be Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week, most work will occur during the day, however as a young people’s service we may occasionally ask you to support out of hours sessional work.
Holding a relevant qualification in substance misuse/youth work/psychology/counselling/ mental health/social care or with relevant experience and willingness to work towards a Level 3 Qualification in Health & Social Care you will also:
• Have experience of working with at risk/vulnerable young people in a community setting.
• Be able to deliver behaviour change support, including group work.
• Be knowledgeable about: safeguarding children, confidentiality, consent and mental capacity and Hidden Harm.
• Adopt a flexible approach to work - hours and locations.

Aquarius is a subsidiary of Richmond Fellowship, with both organisations being part of Recovery Focus, a national group of charities highly experienced in providing specialist support services to individuals and families living with the effects of mental ill health, drug and alcohol use, gambling and domestic violence. From 1st June 2024 Richmond Fellowship will be merging with the mental health charity Humankind to form a single organisation that provides the joined-up mental health, housing and drug and alcohol support we’ve all known has been needed for decades. At the same time, Aquarius will become a subsidiary of Humankind, with no impact to terms and conditions of employment. In October 2024, Humankind will then be renamed to reflect the new, bigger and better organisation, of which Aquarius will remain a subsidiary.
Salary: £15,593 per annum + £450 Homeworking Allowance per annum

Contract: 12 months fixed term initially.
Location: Homebased with regular travel required to support children and young people in foster families throughout the North Wales area, including Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy, Anglesey, Gwynedd and north Powys and possibly parts of Ceredigion. Travel also requires the postholder to attend staff meetings and team away days.

As an Engagement and Activity Practitioner with TACT Cymru, you will be a part of our amazing team of professionals working with our organisational values at the heart of their everyday practice.
Overall Duties of the Engagement & Activity Practitioner will include:
- Being an accessible point of contact for the children living with our carers and to our young people, keeping them up to date with the facilities and opportunities available with TACT.
- Supporting interventions and activities to ensure stable placement arrangements.
- Being able to transport children and young people to events, appointments and meetings (mileage reimbursed).
- Organising and participating in virtual and face-to-face events and occasional residential meet-ups.
- Managing all paperwork associated with events and activities.
- Willingness to work flexibly, according to deadlines and needs of our families.
- Undertaking trauma-informed direct work with children and young people.
- Liaising with our Supervising Social Worker team.

The successful candidate will be required to attend regular face-to-face meetings at least quarterly in South Wales and and attend other face-to-face meetings such as training and team wellbeing events as well as meeting with children and young people in person around the North Wales and north Powys region.
An Enhanced DBS clearance is required for this role and will be processed by TACT on your behalf.
Proficiency in the Welsh language is desirable though not essential.
