Job description

Every member of PWSA UK works towards improving the lives of those with PWS, who are affected by PWS and who work with people living with PWS. 

The postholder will provide support, information and training to people with PWS, their ffamilies and carers, professionals and the general public.

You will provide telephone, email and Facebook support and advice, often in times of crisis and mediate where appropriate with social services, healthcare, education and other professionals. You will atttend PWS specialist clinics and contribution to the organisation of Familynet events.

The postholder will contribute to the provision of all information provided by PWSA UK to ensure all information is up to date, reflects the latest thinking and techniques and is  presented in a stakeholder friendly format. This includes keeping up to date with all changes in government policy and legislation to reflect changes in PWSA UK. 

You will also cotribute to the provision of and help write the content of PWS training and to undertake other duties as may  be requested from time to time by the SUpport and Training Team Manager.
