Job description

We are looking for an experienced project coordinator and OISC supervisor OISC L2 (OISC L3 desirable) or solicitor with equivalent qualification for an exciting position leading our Open Access immigration advice service for migrants at risk.

The post holder will manage and supervise a team of OISC level 2 immigration advisors providing specialist immigration advice and casework to migrants at risk in London, with a special provision for Tower Hamlets residents.

You will play a key role in coordinating this project, ensuring our service reaches those in most need. You will hold a small caseload of cases feeding into our advocacy and campaign work.

Praxis is a dynamic, award-winning human rights charity supporting migrants in crisis or at-risk, ensuring that their essential human needs are met and that they are able to overcome the barriers they face. We played a leading role in exposing the Windrush scandal and advocate and campaign for lasting changes to policy and practice to address the root causes of the issues faced by at-risk migrants.

We are an equal opportunity employer and strongly encourage applications from those with lived experience of migration, and from diverse applicants regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marital/civil partnership status, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, or pregnancy/maternity leave status.
