Part-time, Temporary
Job description

Would you like to support young people negatively affected by immigration policy to speak up about the issues that affect them?

We are looking for an empathetic, driven and resilient person to work alongside Brighter Futures to build on the group’s youth-led movement, identify new audiences and opportunities to influence change, organise events and lead on communications and campaign actions to challenge the way young migrants are perceived by the public. You will be approachable, relatable and non-judgmental when working with young people, and energetic and ambitious when working with collaborators, influencers and the public. You will also be committed to making real systemic change for young migrants in the UK.

A message from Brighter Futures: If you’re not 100% committed and passionate about working with young migrants, then this isn’t the job for you! We want you to be warm and friendly, and enthusiastic about this cause. You need to be able to relate well to people from different cultures, and understand where we are coming from.

We particularly welcome applications from young people with lived experience of both migration and hostile immigration policy.
