Unpaid role, expenses paid
Permanent, Part-time, Around 10 days per year
Job description

We are currently seeking two new trustees to join the Board of Prior’s Court Foundation and be part of two of our Board sub-committees.

The focus of the new roles will be on the education of our young people with special needs and to support IT innovation and change, so you will need to have significant experience in one or more of these key areas.

About Prior's Court

Prior's Court was set up by Founding Patron Dame Stephanie Shirley, whose vision of a centre of excellence for children with autism became reality with the opening of Prior's Court School in 1999. We have since grown to support around 90 young people with complex autism aged between 5-25 years with the opening of Prior's Court Young Adult Provision in 2011.

Since opening, our support team has grown from around 20 to 500 and we have built a reputation as a leading edge educational, vocational, and residential facility for young people with autism. We are situated on 50 acres of parkland with various facilities including accommodation for our young people, a school with a wide range of facilities and offices.

Trustees vacancies

The departure of one of our long standing trustees has created one of our current vacancies; the other vacancy will support our objective to broaden the combined skill set of the Trustee Board.

For both vacancies, we are looking for special individuals who can share our goals, values and passion for all we do. Full details of our requirements are shown within the Trustee Candidate Pack below.

We are a forward thinking, innovative organisation and you must share our determination to impact positively the lives of children and young people with autism and their families. If you have the skills, experience and qualities we are looking for then we very much look forward to hearing from you.

Closing Date 27th September
