Change Governance Manager, circa. £41,000 + Amazing Benefits + Flexible Working | Manchester

For a large, complex multi-national organisation, we are recruiting a Change Governance Manager to support the running and evaluation of the Finance change control process and make recommendations for improvements in support of the Finance Transformation Programme. This role partners with the Global Finance team and manages the daily governance process, influencing stakeholders, providing governance and change control expertise to the wider Finance team, and continually improves process. This role has Business Analyst responsibilities to document and improve processes.

Main Duties:

  • Lead and coordinate improvements to the Finance Change Governance (FCG) process to improve the efficiency, flexibility, and standards of governance
  • Work alongside a team of Global Process Owners to review change requests and prioritise change requests for future process and system changes
  • Organise and lead Governance Board and Forum, providing papers for meetings and that all decisions and actions are documented
  • Implement Benefits analysis into the FCG process to show true value of changes
  • Produce regular reports for different audiences including the Senior Governance Board, Governance Forum, and strategic business units
  • Build relationships with Technical and Business teams to enable effective governance and alignment of process and system changes with the Finance Business Strategy
  • Oversee and manage a central FCG tracker of 200+ change requests for Finance to hold information, conduct analysis and provide support colleagues leading change
  • Chair Change Board meetings with a range of senior stakeholders
  • Document AS-IS processes and recommend improvements to create the TO-BE processes
  • Management of up to 3 interim staff supporting the Finance Transformation delivery.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience of managing change control
  • Experience of recommending and gaining approval of implementation of formal process change controls across global finance teams
  • Experience of working in an international and complex multi-cultural environment
  • Experience of project management and change management documentation including risk logs, actions and issues logs, assessment logs, process maps, reporting dashboards.
  • Experience of SAP
  • Sig Sigma certified
  • Experience of governance and change control for global finance processes and systems
