Cost Transformation Manager: Circa. £70,000 + Amazing Benefits + Pension + Flexible Working

For a large, complex multi-national organisation, we are recruiting a Cost Transformation Manager to set up and lead a Cost Management Centre to drive out cost and inefficiency globally. This new role will drive savings and undertake data-driven cost analysis whilst ensuring end-to-end impact is mitigated. The Cost Transformation Manager will ensure the department is a centre of excellent for cost transformation, partnering with corporate services and global business units to reduce costs and increase effectiveness. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role will work closely with the Shared Service Centre and Finance and Transformation Teams and will build a team.

Main Duties:

  • Deliver and shape the cost transformation strategy and lead the cost management centre
  • Matrix manage cost initiatives scoping prioritisation and delivery, providing cost saving business cases to the transformation programme and investment board
  • Promote the business benefits of cost transformation methodologies to the organisation
  • Partner with change and finance and other functions to apply business process tools to review existing processes and cost areas to identify cost saving opportunities
  • Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency, business process improvements, costs reduction and revenue growth
  • Provide support to build and present business cases for cost saving initiatives
  • Deliver key business cases and realisation of cost saving opportunities
  • Run monthly cost initiatives status reporting process for global stakeholders

Person Specification:

  • Proven delivery of cost transformation within a complex organisation
  • Proven experience of project and programme management
  • Experience of managing globally dispersed matrix teams and of coaching and mentoring
  • Experience of global and complex commercial organisations with a matrix structure
  • Ideally finance qualified with project management skills including Six Sigma
  • Advanced MS Office, Excel, Power BI, and SAP
