Reporting into the Head of Marketing, this role requires a highly motivated and experienced fundraiser to take responsibility for managing all aspects of individual giving, the London Marathon stewardship and elements of Legacy marketing. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing campaigns to maximise fundraising efforts and ensure the long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement campaigns to cultivate and steward individual donors and regular givers. Responsibility for major donors is held by the Trusts and Philanthropy team.
· Create personalised donor engagement plans to build strong relationships and increase donor retention.
· Identify new opportunities for donor acquisition and develop targeted fundraising campaigns.
· Deliver new fundraising products such as a membership-style value exchange offering.
· Develop and implement effective stewardship programmes to recognise and thank donors for their contributions.
· Provide timely and personalised acknowledgement of donations, including personalised thank-you letters, emails, and phone calls.
· Collaborate with the wider marketing team to create compelling legacy marketing materials and campaigns.
· You will be involved in the London Marathon. Creating and delivering a stewardship programme for runners, including organising support and a post-event party on the day of the event.
Person Specification:
· Experience in fundraising, with a focus on individual giving, stewardship, legacy marketing.
· Experience in managing fundraising campaigns and events.
· Strong knowledge of fundraising principles, techniques, and best practices.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire donors and stakeholders.
· Proficiency in using fundraising software and CRM systems.
· Building and maintaining constructive collaborative relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts to achieve identified objectives and outcomes.

We are now recruiting for the exciting new role of Family Support Coordinator. This role will organise and deliver Croydon Refugee Day Centre (CRDC)’s new Family Support Programme, including being responsible for 1-1 casework with families to support children into education, and overseeing our Family Support Volunteers.
You will work at CRDC’s centre as well as running weekly to fortnightly drop-ins at four asylum hotel sites across Croydon, working in partnership with other organisations, the accommodation provider, and CRDC staff and volunteers to identify and reach out to families new to the accommodation and families that might need extra support.
You will have the following responsibilities:
1.Offer practical, hardship support to families with children.
2.Build links with, refer and signpost families to other organisations that offer opportunities and support for children and young people.
3.Support and empower families new to the area (and the country) – by helping them understand and navigate UK educational and child-related systems – including supporting with in-year school applications and school liaison.
4.Support families transitioning out of the asylum system or area to find new support networks.
5.Work with the Operational Coordinator to run activities for children not yet attending school at our Wednesday Welcome sessions, and to run one-off outings and activities in school holidays.
6.Maintain our database and records detailing the support we are offering families.
7.Supervise and guide Family Support Volunteers within the team.

The Croydon Refugee Day Centre (CRDC) is a small but specialist, primarily volunteer-led organisation, with 25 years’ experience of supporting asylum seekers and refugees across Croydon and beyond. Our vision is that all asylum seekers and refugees across Croydon are able to integrate into and thrive in the UK. To this end, we support them both with their basic, practical needs and their mental health and well-being – as well as to develop the support networks, skills and experience they need to flourish.
Over the past few years, the number of asylum seekers and refugees in Croydon has increased dramatically, and CRDC is increasing its services and staffing to meet the new level of need.

About the role:
We are excited to be taking the lead in the London Whole Housing Service Partnership (LWHSP) which will address and enhance the pathways of housing support for women experiencing domestic abuse, from removing them from immediate harm, to enabling recovery and resettlement across all levels of need. The LWHSP are seeking to build on our delivery across 11 East and West London boroughs of the Whole Housing Approach (WHA).
The Housing IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. You will specialise in working with clients for whom housing, and risk of tenancy breakdown is a factor. You will work within the team to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women, focusing on working with those aged 18 and over who access the domestic abuse service. You will hold a caseload of survivors and will also be required to work as part of Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.
About You:
As a Housing IDVA, you will need to have a degree of flexibility for colocation work across London boroughs; providing support to women who have experienced domestic violence, focusing on individuals with housing or tenancy issues. Working in our fast-paced crisis intervention, advocacy and support service, you’ll ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. You will have your own caseload of survivors and will focus on working with those aged 18 and over who access our domestic abuse service.
You will bring experience in providing independent domestic violence advocacy and support for women who approach housing advice and assessment for help. Ideally experience in working with housing service providers, and advising women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies. You will have the ability to develop individual safety and support plans in-line with the clients’ needs and the risks they face.

About the role:
As an Outreach Worker, your role will be to assist your allocated young people in tasks that will enable them to live independently. This support will involve advice, general help and moral support, financial assistance (advice about bill payments etc) and working with young people on completion of education awards (AQA). You will be expected to work with multiple agencies to deliver holistic packages of support.
This role includes travelling to various locations to carry out support sessions with young people.
You will be expected to provide key work sessions for young people as per their placement agreement. These sessions are to be structured so that the young person can be assisted in accessing local resources, budgeting, and assisting them with gaining appropriate life skills. Using outcomes stars as a tool and completing the progress on the interactive website.
You will be expected to keep a diary of all contact with each young person and professional and to complete Outcomes Star reports on the young person which are sent to placing workers. These reports contain information about the young person and the work that has been completed with them. It highlights areas of need to help to focus key work.
It will be necessary to attend meetings such as child protection conferences, review meetings and other meetings that are deemed necessary in providing the high-quality service that is expected by local authorities and stakeholders and to ensure service delivery meets young people’s needs. You will be offered support if required when attending these meetings.

As a Scheme Manager for one of their housing schemes, based in East London, you will manage a sheltered housing scheme, made up of 18 units for women residents aged 55 years and over. You will be responsible for the management of the Scheme, including the welfare of residents, the building, security, maintenance and management of compliance and regulatory requirements. You will work alongside the residents and stakeholders to provide advice and guidance daily, facilitate social events to help build a community, reduce isolation and be proactive in driving resident community engagement.

Purpose:
To support BAME Carers to review and re-assess their Carers Assessments and Peace of Mind for
Carers contingency plans in line with local authority procedures. To provide information and support

Specific Responsibilities:
• Contact all Carers whose Carers Assessment/POM4C plan is due for annual review.
• Ensure that Carers Assessments/POM4C plan reviews are carried out with at least 90% of Carers who are due for an annual review.
• Consider if a Carer may have substantial difficulty in being involved in the assessment review process under the definition provided by the Care Act 2014 and ensure the Carer has suitable advocacy support.
• In undertaking the Carers Assessment/POM4C plan review, support the Carer to identify and communicate whether there have been any changes since their assessment that impacts on their caring role.
• Where there have been no changes since their assessment, ensure the Review Form is complete enabling the Carer to continue to receive the same levels of support.
• Where there has been changes since their assessment, undertake a re-assessment to determine the Carer’s eligibility under the Care Act 2014 using the National Eligibility Criteria.
• Where Carers needs for support meet the eligibility criteria, develop and deliver in partnership with the Carer a care and support plan, that is proportionate to the assessed needs.
• Where there has been changes since their assessment, use the Local Authority Resource Allocation System (RAS) to determine a Carers’ payment. Commission Carers’ payments, explaining the payment process to the Carer.
• Ensure that Carers who are ‘not eligible’ in accordance with the Care and Support (Eligibility Criteria) Regulations 2014 are provided with advice, information, signposting and referral on to meet current needs and prevent/delay future needs.
• Ensure that Carers’ Assessments Reviews and Support Plans are complaint with the Carers’ Assessment and Support Planning Quality Assurance Framework.
• Take a whole family approach to undertaking the Carers Assessment Review, considering whether other Carers, including young Carers, are involved in care giving and ensure they are offered information and referred on for support where consent is given.
• Provide up to date information regarding Carers rights and the services and resources available to support Carers.
• Ensure support offered and information provided to Carers is appropriate for their specific needs including but not limited to mental health conditions, learning disabilities and dementia.
• Make outgoing referrals to facilitate Carers’ access to other local services/organisations where appropriate.

The Role
As a referral co-ordinator support worker, you will support with receiving and managing our referrals for their safe accommodation. You will also lead on their achieving great futures programme, transforming how they support children, young people, and their families to improve outcomes, practice cultures and service delivery by looking across a wide range of areas in children's services by creating early links with social care upon arrival in their services. Some other duties include:
- Coordinating all aspects of referrals for the group regarding: enquiries, referral coordination and placements. Maintaining ongoing tracking and appropriate documentation on referrals to promote team awareness and ensure service user safety.
- Ensuring complete and accurate information is provided on referrals and where necessary chase up information and evidence to support.
- Providing appropriate information to the wider team to ensure they have all relevant information to deliver quality support and manage risk.

The Module sits within the Master of Research (MRes) in Developmental Neuroscience and Psychopathology (DNP), a two-year Masters programme, which is a collaboration between Anna Freud, University College London and The Child Study Centre at Yale University in the USA. The MRes brings together thinking from multiple perspectives, with a particular focus in the role of neuroscience in understanding child psychopathology. Students spend their first year in London (based at Anna Freud) and their second year at Yale, where they undertake a substantial research project. The student cohort is small (generally 14 students per year) and carefully selected. This post provides a forum for the successful candidate to develop skills and experience in teaching and delivery of an innovative and well-established MRes programme. Working within a dynamic and friendly team, including the Programme Officer, Programme Director and Deputy Directors as well as the wider group of teaching staff, the post-holder will be required to undertake the main tasks of delivering a module on Multiple Perspectives run across all three teaching terms.

Purpose:
To support Carers to review and reassess their Carers Assessments and Peace of Mind for Carers contingency plans in line with local authority procedures. To provide information and support to Carers to reduce the impact of their caring role.
Specific Responsibilities
- Contact all Carers whose Carers Assessment/POM4C plan is due for annual review.
- Ensure that Carers Assessments/POM4C plan reviews are carried out with at least 90% of Carers who are due for an annual review.
- Consider if a Carer may have substantial difficulty in being involved in the assessment review process under the definition provided by the Care Act 2014 and ensure the Carer has suitable advocacy support.
- In undertaking the Carers Assessment/POM4C plan review support the Carer to identify and communicate whether there have been any changes since their assessment that impacts on their caring role.
- Where there have been no changes since their assessment, ensure the Review Form is complete enabling the Carer to continue to receive the same levels of support.
- Where there has been changes since their assessment, undertake a re-assessment to determine the Carer’s eligibility under the Care Act 2014 using the National Eligibility Criteria.
- Where Carers needs for support meet the eligibility criteria, develop and deliver in partnership with the Carer a care and support plan, that is proportionate to the assessed needs.
- Where there has been changes since their assessment, use the Local Authority Resource Allocation System (RAS) to determine a Carers’ payment. Commission Carers’ payments, explaining the payment process to the Carer.
- Ensure that Carers who are ‘not eligible’ in accordance with the Care and Support (Eligibility Criteria) Regulations 2014 are provided with advice, information, signposting and referral on to meet current needs and prevent/delay future needs.
- Ensure that Carers’ Assessments Reviews and Support Plans are complaint with the Carers’ Assessment and Support Planning Quality Assurance Framework.
- Take a whole family approach to undertaking the Carers Assessment Review, considering whether other Carers, including young Carers, are involved in care giving and ensure they are offered information and referred on for support where consent is given.
- Provide up to date information regarding Carers rights and the services and resources available to support Carers.
- Ensure support offered and information provided to Carers is appropriate for their specific needs including but not limited to mental health conditions, learning disabilities and dementia.

The Youth Services Manager is a key senior position leading on the design and delivery of Caring in Bristol’s services tailored to 16-25 year olds. The postholder also acts as the safeguarding lead for the organisation.
Our youth services take a person-centred relational approach. Our youth team stand alongside young people, working together to tackle the barriers to stable housing. This role also has the exciting opportunity to shape our innovative new small-scale accommodation provision.
As the Youth Services Manager you will play a key role in developing our work supporting young adults that prevents or stops the development of a homelessness crisis.
There are two key services which this role would oversee:
· “Project Z” - Ongoing one-to-one floating support by specialist youth practitioners for 16-25 year olds, many of whom will be experiencing multiple disadvantage; a key objective is building trusting relationships that can help to facilitate positive change.
· “Z House” - A project launching in Spring 2024; an innovative new model for short term youth accommodation for 18-25 year olds in Bristol, delivered primarily by community volunteers. We are in the final stages of constructing the space and the initial service design, with the aim to pilot the concept for the next 12 months.
Both services incorporate group work, drop-in activities and co-production to ensure we are making them accessible to young people who may not usually participate in more traditional support models.
The role will work closely with our other operational managers to ensure that our volunteer management, data systems and performance monitoring are best practice.
The role will have line management responsibility for project staff including the Senior Youth Practitioner, Shelter Coordinator and some oversight of volunteers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead on the coordination, delivery and development of our youth-focused services.
- Leadership of the youth services staff team, providing line management, pastoral support, supervision and development opportunities.
- Develop effective collaborative networks and partnerships with relevant organisations that support young people in Bristol, promote the broader work of CiB, act as a representative of the charity.
- Work closely with the Head of Operations and Prevention Services Manager to develop a consistent approach and operational resilience, including participating in the on-call support rota for all services.
