The South East Gambling Harms Partnership—a strategic collaboration across eight regional Citizens Advice offices (East Berkshire, West Berkshire, Reading, Wokingham and Basingstoke, Rushmore, Tadley and Hart)—has secured dedicated funding through the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID). We are launching a pioneering initiative across Berkshire and North Hampshire to identify, prevent, and reduce the devastating impacts of gambling harms.

We are recruiting for 8 roles to build this brand-new, regional project team. Roles based in Berkshire will be employed by Citizens Advice Wokingham and roles based in North Hampshire will be employed by Citizens Advice Hart :

● Salary: £38,682 – £46,580 + 10% employers pension contribution

● The Role: The strategic architect of the project. You will lead the team, build partnerships with NHS and local authority commissioners, and embed gambling harm prevention into regional health strategies.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• To manage workflow and communications across the regional ECF teams.
• To coordinate and administer our ECF programme across regions.
• To be a key point of contact for our programme partners and participants to support them with responses around programme logistics.
• To draft and post ECF programme updates on the Learning Management System (LMS).
• To liaise with partners about visits, quality assurance and feedback.
• To gather, collate and analyse feedback from programme sessions to inform design and delivery in the future through effective communication with faculty team.
• To help prepare key events for the ECF programme, such as National Webinars, including the drafting of guidance, communications and registration.
• To support during key events across the faculty including online webinars and partner briefings.
• To support the Head of ECF and Regional Heads of Programme with other administrative efforts around the ECF programme. This might include helping to organise key meetings with our Associate Colleges, administrative tasks related to the ECF or hands-on support with marketing, recruitment and quality assurance.
• To coordinate team meetings and activities throughout the year.
• To sit on the viva assessment panels for a maximum of three days per year to support the process.
• To provide support at the annual graduation event which is on a Saturday and notice will be provided.

Working at the National Institute of Teaching

• Contract: Full Time; Temporary to 31 August 2027.
• Salary: £31,537 per annum plus benefits (plus London weighting if applicable).
• This role is advertised to cover an internal secondment. It is offered on a temporary position, with the potential to become permanent subject to future organisational needs.
• The role is hybrid with the need to be on site at least once a fortnight.
• This post involves occasional travel and overnight stays, which will be paid/reimbursed by the NIoT.

Project Intercept is our initiative that works with technology companies to prevent child sexual abuse online. We design and embed warning messages into platforms to interrupt harmful behaviour and signpost people to support through our Stop It Now service.

Over the past two years, Project Intercept has shown that these interventions can reach large numbers of people and contribute to meaningful behaviour change. We are now entering the final year of the project, with a focus on widening our impact – growing partnerships with more tech companies while continuing to support and strengthen existing relationships. 

This role sits at the centre of that work, supporting both the coordination and development of Project Intercept’s partnerships. The postholder will engage with a wide range of external stakeholders, including major technology companies, government, law enforcement and third sector organisations, helping to build and maintain positive working relationships while ensuring activity is well organised, progressed and delivered effectively. Alongside this, the role will support project delivery, evidence gathering and internal coordination, helping the programme run smoothly, reach more partners and maximise its impact.

Knowledge or an interest in medical education and familiarity with its terminology and an understanding of EDI issues and best practices is desirable.

We join with the people, communities and organisations in Gloucestershire’s disability and mental health movement – driving forward change so that disabled people and people with mental health conditions have choice of opportunities, access their rights, and are included where they live.

We are looking for a new Membership Co-ordinator to join the team to coordinate our engagement scheme ‘Barnwood Circle’.  Barnwood Circle is a network of disabled people, people with mental health conditions, and carers, who inform and shape our work by sharing experiences and expertise.

Our Membership Co-ordinator is a key contact for members. We are looking for someone who can provide excellent administration and coordination of Circle meetups and projects. The Membership Co-ordinator helps us make our communication accessible and relevant to members, and enables members to participate by ensuring access requirements are met.

Specialist experience relevant to disability and mental health challenges, including safeguarding, specialist communications or cultural awareness is welcomed for this role.

We want to diversify our team to better reflect the work and communities we support– this means we would particularly welcome applications from people who:

Coordination of engagement scheme

4. Provide administration of Barnwood Circle member agreements, payments and expenses claims for taking part in projects with the Barnwood team.

Communications and Events

· Collaborate with marketing and communications colleagues to ensure that communications and channels used to engage disabled people and people with mental health conditions are effective, accessible, and relevant.

· Coordinate the creation of communications products which engage a wide range of disabled people and people with mental health conditions, commissioning specialist resources where necessary. 

· Support teams across the Trust to engage meaningfully with Barnwood Circle members and create communications to resource this.

Project Leadership & Governance

• End-to-End Delivery: Own the project lifecycle for high-stakes initiatives, applying Prince 2 principles to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget.
• Strategic Risk Management: Identify potential "roadblocks"—whether cultural, financial, or technical—and develop robust mitigation plans to keep the organisation protected.

Person Specification

Essential:

• Prince 2 Practitioner (or equivalent project management framework)
• Significant experience leading cross-functional projects in a mid-to-large organisation
• Proven ability to influence and lead teams without direct line authority
• Demonstrable experience in contract negotiation, budgeting, and procurement
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences

Additional Information:

Due to the nature of the role and the organisation, we believe that this post is subject to an occupational requirement that the holder be a practising Christian under Part 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010. Terms and Conditions:

This is a full-time, permanent position. The salary will be up to £39,500 per annum, depending upon experience.

This position is 37 hours per week.

The position is offered subject to the satisfactory completion of a three-month probationary period.

Holiday entitlement is five weeks per annum, rising to six weeks after two years’ continuous service, plus statutory holidays.

CFF operates a group personal pension scheme and will contribute to an employee’s plan, within the scheme, a monthly payment equivalent to 10% of their gross monthly salary once conditions for entry to the scheme have been met.
