We are currently recruiting for a F2F Fundraising Performance Coach's. The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of excellent fundraising results and fundraising compliance standards and specifically the delivery of performance improvements in our F2F fundraisers through coaching, training, and continuous development. The role will also involve direct fundraising where you will be expected to meet a personal target.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for coaching the performance of multiple teams in the region that will consist of lone workers, pairs of fundraisers to bigger teams as the income plan increases.
- Responsible for an individual fundraising target and set of KPI’s that include inspiring people to become long-term monthly donors, generating income through contactless one-off donations and acquiring newsletter prospecting sign ups in a range of locations including residential door-to-door, town and city centres, private venues, and events and more commonly on our private land, the canal and river Towpaths.
- Acting as a hands-on fundraiser who leads by example, delivering fundraising income through signing up Friends and generating contactless income whilst demonstrating the Canal & River Trust ‘s values and behaviours.
- Generating income and being present on-site to visit fundraising teams, fundraise with them, cover sickness absence, coach performance, provide training & development of fundraisers, reinforce our culture of health & safety, embed compliance standards.
- Provide phone coaching and in-person coaching of fundraisers to support meeting their targets and KPI’s and in individual cases working with fundraisers to improve their results from their current level of performance to the required standard by equipping them with the technical and psychological training to work to their very best.
- Identify training requirements and deliver on and off field training and coaching to grow income.

- Undertake mystery shopping, observations and internal quality control auditing of values, behaviour, and fundraising technique.
- Support and deputise for the Regional F2F Fundraising Manager by providing cover when they are on leave to support the regional strategy of inspiring new supporters and generating income through contactless giving to the F2F Fundraising programme. This includes taking responsibility for the regional fundraising targets and KPI’s.
- Working with our partner recruitment agency to arrange interviews, send out communications to candidates and sit on the interview panel with the aim of recruiting and onboarding new F2F fundraisers into the F2F programme.
- Support the delivery of performance incentives and setting up/editing teams on Evergiving and the rota.
- Provision of daily reports of observations and actions taken, areas of success, results for that day and areas of training and development identified.
- Process all sensitive and data protected information obtained by donors as confidential and in a safe and secure manner in line with the Trust’s GDPR and Security Procedures.
- Carrying out Daily Compliance training, Charity conversation, case for support and storytelling practice and Health and Safety training sessions as per directed by the Regional F2F Fundraising Manager.
- Manages feedback and complaints in a professional manner and follows the complaints process and communicates details to Regional F2F Fundraising Manager so it can be addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
- Driver’s License is essential (requirement for Business insurance)
- Performance management and coaching qualifications are desirable.

- Knowledge and experience of working within the CIOF, Fundraiser regulator code of practice.

ROLE PURPOSE
This position involves identifying and prioritising potential donors capable of making significant contributions to help us deliver a range of projects aimed at enhancing the student experience and supporting the local community. By providing the Development and Fundraising Team with tailored and insightful research, this role will enhance the prospect funding pipeline and facilitate the cultivation of a diverse pools of donors, including individuals, grant-making trusts, and companies. This role will also manage a well-structured stewardship program for donors. Responsibilities include promptly acknowledging donations, creating personalised impact reports, and overseeing bi-annual events which recognise and celebrate their support.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
· To maintain and develop the University’s database of fundraising prospects through proactive identification, analysis, and segmentation, (individual and aggregate) record updating, and original research, including the identification of new prospects.
· To prepare prospect profiles (which may include wealth ratings), and work with relationship managers to devise appropriate tailored cultivation and solicitation plans, enabling appropriately targeted fundraising asks.
· To develop and manage reporting in the database across fundraising portfolios to help ensure prospects are strategically moving along the prospect pipeline towards major gift solicitation • To produce and provide due-diligence reports on prospective donors as part of the University’s gift acceptance procedures.
· To deliver an annual donor recognition event to acknowledge and celebrate the support of the University’s most generous supporters.
· To organise smaller bespoke events for higher level donors to the university, for example, site visits to project sites and/or opportunities to meet student beneficiaries.
· To write insightful and impactful bespoke reports for donors supporting the University, ensuring reports demonstrate the positive impact of support and encourage repeat gift solicitation from the fundraising team.
· To keep abreast of regulations, including the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) ensuring that all prospect research and cultivation is compliant and understood by fundraisers.

CONTEXT
The primary purpose of the Development team is to secure philanthropic income to support the delivery of the University’s Being Westminster 2022-2029 strategy. The Development team forms part of the Global Recruitment, Admissions, Marketing and Communications (GRAMC) directorate. The team also works closely with the Business Engagement Directorate to deliver an integrated approach to the University’s relationships with its key external stakeholders. The Development team collaborates with the Alumni Relations team to inspire and engage the University of Westminster’s vibrant, global community of alumni and supporters to build lifelong and mutually beneficial relationships with the institution.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fundraiser, working full-time on-site. The Fundraiser who will play an integral role within our team, working with the CEO, and senior management team, responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, organising events and campaigns, maintaining donor relationships, and researching and identifying new funding opportunities, building a strong pipeline of core and restricted funding, as well as donations and gifts.
You will seek to maximise funding opportunities, expand our portfolio of grant funders, and contribute to a growth in income from Trusts & Foundations. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and identifying prospective funders, writing, and submitting high-quality grant applications, and delivering excellent grant management.

Main purpose and scope of Role

About the role and team
Working within the wider Supporter Acquisition and Retention teams, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging onboarding journeys for Shelter supporters, ensuring engagement is high throughout. You’ll be responsible for leading the strategic direction of the Individual Giving programme, making data-informed decisions to deliver outstanding supporter experiences.
Leading the team, and matrix managing other pipelines of work, you will be supported by the Head of Supporter Acquisition to deliver multiple projects concurrently. This role is crucial within the team, allowing the team to provide £20m of unrestricted income across Supporter Acquisition, Supporter Retention & Development, and Direct Dialogue.

Shepherd’s Purse is a new grant making project of the English Province of the Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd.
The Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd is a Roman Catholic Organization of religious sisters who have been working with disadvantaged women in Britain since 1841.
The English Province of the Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd is a registered charity – charity number 1163502.
As the number of sisters able to continue the work with women declines, the Congregation wishes to set up a grant making project to facilitate other charities working with women in distress to do the work we can no longer do ourselves.
We are seeking a Grants Administrator (not a fundraiser) who will set up and run the project for us.
You must have a compassion for women and girls on the margins of society. Our motto is “One person is worth more than a world”. There is no distinction between creed, colour, or sexual orientation. A woman in need is simply that – a woman in need. You must have considerable experience in the charity sector, preferably in a grant fundraising role, or experience in a grant-making role. You must also be discerning, able to communicate, computer literate and able to work alone.
The aim of the project will be to identify and provide grants to bona fide charities working with women in the UK and abroad through the Congregation to its missions overseas.
The headquarters of the Charity are in Salford (St. James House, Pendleton Way). Once established, we would be open to you working from home and visiting the office at least once a month. The National Paralympic Heritage Trust (NPHT) has embarked on a new exciting 5-year Strategy – ‘Becoming Seamlessly Inclusive 2023-2028’. Role of Head of Programmes
Overall
- To direct programmes delivery for the NPHT acting second in command to the CEO.
- To line manage the Learning Manager, Collections Engagement Officer, Team Diversity officer and Team Administrator.
- To manage evaluation with support from the Grants Fundraiser and external evaluation contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- To direct the management of NPHT Programmes of work.
- To build and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
- To oversee the management of events, seeking opportunities for their development, community projects and utilisation/development of the Pop-up museum.
- To direct, through the team administrator and wider team the day-to-day administrative and training work of the NPHT, ensuring legal compliance in areas such as health and safety, and safeguarding, and an oversight on activities and the annual calendar.
- To direct, through the team administrator and team diversity officer the development of the volunteer and placement programmes of work in liaison with other team members utilising volunteers in their work.
- Ensure the day-to-day management of the Heritage Centre, delegating roles to the wider team and liaising with the Sports Stadium Management.
- To manage the evaluation systems and contract with support from the Grants Fundraiser.
- To input into and support other opportunities and longer term plans.
- To support other areas as they arise.

Meetings and reporting
- The Head of Programmes will be employed by the National Paralympic Heritage Trust and responsible to the Board of Trustees.
- The Head of Programmes will be line managed, report to and be supported by the CEO.
- The Head of Programmes will have monthly meetings with the CEO reporting on progress and raising any areas of concern.
- Either party may, by written notice to the other, require the holding of a special meeting to discuss any matter of urgency or exceptional importance relating to this agreement.
Period of Contract
Permanent.
Contract fee/Pay
- The proposed fee is £38,000 a year Full-time.
- In addition to the payment outlined above the Programs Director will be paid reasonable agreed expenses incurred subject to the supply of receipts/travel expense claim and a stakeholder pension.

2. Job Description
The Head of External Engagement is a key leadership post within the organisation. The role encompasses responsibility for the development and delivery of the organisation’s external activity, including profile, brand identity and stakeholder engagement (including the public), fundraising, and driving income generation in new areas, notably commercial partnerships. It also forms part of Sound and Music’s senior management team, who under the leadership of the Chief Executive are responsible for overseeing the organisation’s programme of activity, strategic development, external profile and a positive and productive organisational culture.

3. Key Responsibilities
Leadership and management
External leadership:
· Represent Sound and Music publicly, including through stakeholder and supporter events

Internal leadership:

· Develop and support the Chief Executive on the overall business and development strategy for the organisation to ensure we meet fundraising targets (£200k in 2024-25) for annual programmes and major projects
· Develop an ambitious fundraising programme which builds our supporter base and individual funding streams, including individuals, major gifts and public funders
· Drive income growth by identifying and negotiating commercial partnerships and contribute to the development of an enhanced commercial mindset across the organisation
· Develop and cultivate the existing trusts and foundations pipeline
· Prepare documents and reports for key funders including Arts Council England
· Build and maintain positive and productive relationships with key funders, commercial organisations and stakeholders and cultivate existing relationships within the organisation
· Establish new income streams, for example, by maximising the intellectual property created within the organisation
· Engage the Board of Trustees and senior management team in fundraising activities and the ongoing strategy to optimise donor management and stewardship to develop a culture of fundraising across the organisation
· Maximise the opportunities provided by the new CRM system and contribute to the development of a data-led mindset across the organisation
Communications and campaigns
· Develop and lead the overall communications and reputation management strategy for varied stakeholders to ensure we increase our visibility and influence in the sector
· Support the Chief Executive to build the profile of our brand, drive the media messaging and oversee and power our content media campaigns
· Support the Chief Executive to build and maintain positive and productive relationships with government and culture and media opinion formers
Strategy and planning
· Work with the Chief Executive and other senior management team members to monitor, evaluate and review KPIs, strategies and activity so as to maximise Sound and Music’s impact. This includes reporting and presenting to the Board and externally to help build engagement and relationships in the sector and with funders
· Assess the reputational, financial, delivery and other risks associated with current and new projects and partnerships
· Empower, model, support and encourage cross-team working to realise the full income generating possibilities of projects
Finance and governance
· Contribute to creating and monitoring the overall organisation budget
· Work closely with the Chief Executive, Head of Programmes and Finance Manager to formulate financial strategy against specified budget areas, and to ensure that the programme activity is sufficiently resourced, planned and delivered to budget
· Ensure close monitoring of income and expenditure for relevant budget lines and contribute to senior management team financial planning and review
· Attend Board and Financial Subcommittee meetings to present and report impact on a quarterly basis

Skills and Experience
To be successful, it is anticipated that you will have experience working in a fundraising role within a charity or similar environment. The ideal candidate for Senior Fundraising Manager should display these skills:

About You
We are looking for someone with a growth mindset, who is open to learning new skills, and embraces collaborative working. Attitude and approach are key, so if you have transferable skills but don’t necessarily have direct experience in a role like this, we would love to hear from you.
Key Skills:
• A proven track record of working within a fundraising events environment and an excellent knowledge of the running and challenge events market
• Experience of working with and through a large supporter or customer facing team to achieve results
• Experience of managing people and volunteers and using a variety of communication methods to an audience of all levels both internally and externally
• Experience of delivering income and expenditure budgets and developing and working to event plans
• Experience of developing compelling marketing materials for print, web and social
About the role:
• This role is hybrid, with time split across our London office and working from home. However, we also welcome applicants looking for a home-based role, with travel to event days as required.

• Responsible for the delivery and management of income and expenditure for allocated events portfolio
• Grow the Sue Ryder brand through the events programme and develop and lead on delivery of a national marketing campaign to promote participation in third party running and challenge events
