Our vision
A society in which every young wheelchair user is mobile, enabled and included.
Our values
We are young people focused, ambitious, collaborative and inclusive.

You will create and maintain a prospect list, apply for relevant opportunities and effectively steward existing funders, preparing reports and updates ensuring they meet donor guidelines. You ideally have experience with tools such as Zoom, Mural and Trello and learning environments such as Notion/ Mighty Networks, or are willing to learn how to use them with support from the team. We also use a system called Salesforce, but we’ll give you the training you need to be able to use this.

We recruit young people who have talent and passion and who wish to make a difference, supporting them to develop the networks, skills and confidence they need to fulfil their potential. In doing so, we open up their pathways to positions of influence in their career and their community. Over the past decade, we’ve supported nearly 5,000 young people in total, 65% of whom come from a Black, Asian or minority ethnic background, 55% of whom are the first in their family to go to university and 59% of whom identify as women.
You may also have experience in areas such as: Participant Support And Delivery Officer, Participant Support Officer, Participant Delivery Officer, Participation Engagement lead, Community Engagement lead, Participation and Community Engagement lead, Programme Development Manager etc.

About Us
Save the Children UK believes every child deserves a future. When crisis strikes, and children are most vulnerable, we are always among the first to respond and the last to leave. We ensure children's unique needs are met and their voices are heard. We deliver lasting results for millions of children, including those hardest to reach.

Located in Little Venice, West London, our shop is located in a beautiful area, with brilliant merchandise and a dedicated volunteer team that we'd love to continue growing.
The shop has great potential, and as Shop Manager you'll explore opportunities to grow income and continue to develop the offer, including forming stronger community links, building the volunteer team, and ultimately increasing donations and income. You'll be a passionate people leader, excited to work in a diverse community!

- A strong understanding of what good looks like in a busy and successful community-led shop, ideally with Retail experience
- A clear passion for sustainable fashion and knowledge of products and trends
- A can-do attitude and ability to approach challenges in a positive way, knowing when to reach out for support and guidance where you need it.

Location – This role will be based on site at our Little Venice shop in London.
Flexible Working - We are happy to discuss flexible working options at interview.

We are not looking for just one type of person - we want to recruit people who can add fresh perspectives, innovative ideas or challenge that disrupts the risk of group think.
We are especially interested in people whose childhood experiences - of life on a low income, of migration, of being in a racialised community, of the care system, of being LGBT+ or in an LGBT+ family or living with (or with someone with) a disability - help us to see things we might otherwise miss.
